Indefinite pronouns are pronouns that refer to unnamed people or things. They refer to persons, places or things that are unspecified, unknown or unrevealed. Because indefinite pronouns do not refer to specific nouns, their antecedents are not given.

Example:

Someone knocked on the door of the cabin.

Like any other parts of speech, indefinite pronouns must be also used following the Subject-Verb Agreement.
