Storage Of Rain Water Through Hygiene

We tried to bring about a change in the way people approach life. We played the Role of an extinguisher to awareness about drinking water. We used children as a bait to aware villagers about water caused disease .We got success in awareness in people through together on a common platform, people who do not drink filtered and pure water.We used Rally as medium to propagate “Water conservation – Drink Clean and Pure Rain water and live healthy Life & it is much precious for the long life.

Population: 4800 app.known as ‘Ram nagar , shergarh ’ with almost every family possessing a water storege Tank for Drinking and multi purpose.Most of people used raw water storage tank for rain water store .Even villager are involved in Rain water storing .No interest in Drinking hygienic water as villager are not aware about water hygiene.

Most of families are settled in small group called “DHANI”.Whenever villagers are drinking water they are not use the cleanliness’ at water storage tank..They do not filter water before use and not make hygienic environment.In there areas there are fluoridated geo-water pullout by bore wells.

The Reasons behind the Idea1.They use unfiltered water for cooking purpose.2.Flourosis disease seen in local villagers caused by water.3.Detoriating attendance & increase in dropouts due to water caused disease. 4.Villagers are not aware about healthy life.

The villagers are store water in underground water tank called “TANKA”.People of “DHANIES” are not use cleanliness near tanka and not hand wash before drink water and cooking purpose further.The villagers are store ground level rain water in their raw “TANKA” and not use proper techniques to safe these rain water as well as long time till finish it.

We imagine a campaign where we will have to awareness about Health and Hygiene of the community against water generated disease.Our campaign for water-conservation related to rain water storage for multipurpose eg. Drinking, cooking etc. .Future of their children was taken as a bait to aware villagers from water caused diseases.

We do spread awareness in community by rally.We distribute potassium permanganate(LAL-DAVAA) in community area and ask them to dissolve of tea spoon quantity of it in tanka.We ask to them that conserve rain water of roof top in tanka.We give suggestion to them for cleanliness of water storege tank area for healthy life.

We started the campaign by organizing a Rally & invited parents to see how their children can compete with each other in friendly manner .The Rally was aptly titled “MEETHE JAL ME HAI DUM – SWASTH OR TANDURUST RAHE HUM.”

Rally is an ice breaker mode of awareness witch spreader into community.
