4-H CRAFT CLUB The Craft Club has been very busy. We made cards for military service men and women, as well as
some for local elderly folks to enjoy during the holiday season. Members collected and donated
canned goods to a local food pantry. We also made ornaments for our trees. We’re excited for the
fun to continue in 2020 and wish everyone a Happy New Year! Submitted by Reporter, Emily

SEAHORSE RIDERS 4-H CLUB In November the Seahorse Riders went to Wellington Farms to learn about dressage. It was hosted by Elliott & her mom Kari. It was really cool. We learned a lot about dressage. Dressage is all about precise movements, skill, and special training. It was such a great experience to see the horse and rider, Kelly Coyne work of art. After the dressage demonstration we got to ask questions, pet other barn horses, and feed them treats. Our final 4-H meeting for 2019 was held on December 2. Following the business portion we had an exciting Christmas Party hosted by Bailey Brown & family. We played fun holiday games such as antler ring toss and Christmas charades. We also did a really fun horse themed ornament exchange. There were so many different kinds of horse ornaments. We ate delicious food and desserts. We were surprised by a visit from Santa Claus!! We each had a chance to sit on his lap and tell him our Christmas list. Our group did a coat drive and brought all the coats to the party. We will be presenting the coats to kids at Connect With a Wish. We would like to say thank you to Everleigh and her school Christopher Farms Elementary for collecting so many coats. We were also very happy to welcome a few new members this year! We hope everybody has a happy and healthy holiday season! We are looking forward to 2020. Happy New Year Everybody! we received a significant donation from both clubs. We are very thankful to their generosity.
In November, the Foragers inducted their new officers for
the 2019/2020 year. We had a fun induction ceremony
using a trail mix theme and a reception with goodies
afterwards. We wish our new officers good luck in the
new year.
Finally, two of our members got to attend the Computer
Science training in December. It was a fun day filled with
lots of different coding and programming activities and also
included flying a drone! Thanks to Ms. Sarah for
