You came into our lives,And left footprints in our hearts. And we will never, ever be the same.

Lives of Great men all remind usWe can make our lives sublime,And departing, leave behind us,Footprints in the sands of Time.

A humble tribute in gratitude,

“You carried us in your arms, cradled us in your heart. You are now with the Protector,

You will always remain in our Prayers.”

Haji Abdul Razzak Esmail Kalsekar, fondly remembered as 'Haji Saheb' was a true idealistic visionary. His Clarion call to society “Quality Education is Mandatory for All” truly reflected his purity of thoughts.

His dedicated efforts to empower and enrich the society was based on the strong belief that Education is the pillar of any healthy society and only through Education can we eliminate the evils of poverty and disparity and build an equitable society.

He was a man who didn't believe in just giving charity to needy, instead he empowered them grow hands through EDUCATION that they can earn with dignity and serve the society.

Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams and buildings. The world's most iconic structures were built by civil engineers. The Romans, Mayans and Egyptians who built great structures were the pioneers in the field. Our civilization relies more than ever on teams of inventive people to design, build and maintain the sophisticated environment that surrounds us.

The Department of Humanities and Sciences reflects a holistic and pragmatic approach to engineering education in the modern era. Diploma engineers, when they step out into the real world, need to be experts in their respective specialization, good communicators with awareness of society and economy. The department of Humanities and Sciences aims at grooming students in that direction. The responsibility of the department is to strengthen the academic and moral aspects of a student’s personality so that the transition of students into responsible engineers will be easier.
