To The Eufora Nation

I’d like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of love and prayers for

myself and kids and our Eufora family since Don’s sudden passing. Don loved living, and

he lived his life to the fullest each and every day. There truly are no words to describe the

exceptional father, husband, friend and mentor he was to so many.

Don was so very proud of his profession. He loved being a Hairdresser, and was passionate

about helping Salon Owners have successful and rewarding businesses. He believed in the

power of great distribution and above all he believed that education was the key to salon

professionals having their dream careers in this industry. He dedicated his career to

helping his peers. Don deeply cared for his Eufora family and gave us all so much. He was

selfless and giving, loving everyday, and taught us that life and love are precious gifts to be

embraced…and he did!

Back in 2006, Don and I created the Eufora “Manifesto”. It was a painstaking effort to put

into a few “right” words our beliefs and mission for Eufora. The words gave myself, and

the team at Eufora, strength and clarity to move forward with great conviction. I share our

favorite and most powerful part of this Manifesto again with all of you so that you will

know, without question, that we will not waiver from these words or his legacy.

To honor this beautiful man is to go on with strength, love, kindness and understanding. To

support each other and lift each other up in times of need. To pay forward to the world

what he gave to each one of us.

Don was a true leader, because leaders inspire and empower a team of great people with a

common mission, vision and purpose. It is up to all of us now to carry on his passion and

purpose and drive the greatness of Eufora.

“Here We Go” everyone… let’s continue the mission, vision and dream of our beloved Don.

What happens when The Eufora

HERO for Men’s Team gets to-

gether for two days of trend talk?

Lead by Don, the Team had ro-

bust conversation on current

“fads” and future trends, and

worked together to identify key

looks for the coming year.

Three primary styles were identi-

fied – Modern, Classic and Avante

Garde. Then specific looks were

designed for each style. One of

the goals was to create looks that

were versatile, and could be easily

transformed from day into night,

so cutting techniques were key.

It was two fierce days of collabo-

ration and inspiration, followed by

lots of cutting and coloring, all

culminating in a great Team photo

shoot lead by Don. In one day

the Team cut, colored and styled

7 models, shot hundreds of pho-

tos, and had a lot of fun. Needless

to say the results were amazing,

on trend and some were down

right unexpected. Take a look!

“Foils and cellophane aren't always the most

masculine way to enhance your male guest's

color; so, I used this particular 'polishing'

technique on Cory to create some dimension

and lightness within his natural tone. The

ideal length of hair for this is about 1-3", any-

thing shorter will run the risk of looking

blotchy and anything longer can be done in a

form of balayage. This is perfect for that in

between length! Be mindful of where to

apply this technique, it works best in the

front and the top of a style to exaggerate

where hair may lighten naturally! For Cory,

who is a professional model, it was particu-

larly important that his hair look super shiny

and reflect light well in order for him to be at

his best on camera…and off.”

Luke Duffy, owner of Ultimate Barber in

Dublin, Ireland and John Keegan, owner of

Academy Barber in Dublin Ireland are not

only award winning barbers, they are some of

our biggest Hero fans and top supporters of

our brand.

Both Luke and John are Irish Federation Hair-

dresser Icons and have dominated the Irish

Barber of the Year Awards over the past

decade. They are huge influencers in the bar-

bering world across the pond. The two are

best friends, avid fans of each other’s work,

and they bring a whole new meaning to the

word humble.

Don visited Ireland this past fall to share the

Eufora spirit and congratulate Luke on receiv-

ing the Hall of Fame Award for winning the

prestigious Barber of the Year title for three

consecutive years. An instant camaraderie

was formed, and together they hatched a plan

to grab that brass ring… Global Domination!

Now an Irish Invasion is brewing, so be on the

lookout for new opportunities and Special En-

gagements at the Eufora YOU School Acad-

emy! And, certainly the luck of the Irish will

be with us all as we look to share some of

their unique Master Barbering cutting and

styling in future Eufora publications.

Don Bewley has always put focus on salon business develop-

ment. Whether it be delivering high level business education

or producing an incredible two-day Eufora Business Summit

centered completely around personal and professional devel-

opment, we are focused on helping Eufora stylists and owners

reach their goals and achieve success!

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that Eufora

National Business Trainer and Eufora Salon Owner Network

National Coordinator, Joanne Magana, has taken on a new role

at Eufora International. Joanne has joined our corporate team

in the newly created role of Director of Business Education.

Joanne will work closely with Eufora leadership to design and

implement a powerful in-salon business curriculum. She will

help to identify and train potential Business Educators, and

arm them with the tools to conduct classes on Eufora business

systems at a local level. Candidates will be invited to attend a

Eufora Boot Camp and/or Advanced Training to begin their

path toward becoming a Eufora Business Educator.

Joanne will continue to lead the Eufora Salon Owner Network

program, and she has developed a new platform centered on

the salon guest. Throughout 2016, quarterly meetings will

take Eufora Owners and Managers on a journey that will not

only create the foundation for an exceptional salon experience

for guests, but will also introduce exciting, new and forward

thinking ways to compete and win in the ever-changing land-

scape of salon ownership.

With over 500 salon professionals in attendance, 4 keynote

speakers, 2 Buzz Sessions, 13 break-out workshops and a

EuforaStyle Trend Runway show and celebration at FLUXX,

the Eufora 2015 Business Summit was the event of the year!

At a most difficult time in our history, as we mourned the loss of

our co-founder Don Bewley, the Eufora Nation came together

and was able to honor Don’s memory by delivering an

education experience filled with real world ideas and solutions

specifically targeted to nurture and grow salon professionals.

Keynote speakers Jay Williams, Colette Carlson, and Harry

Wood took to the main stage with presentations that captured

rave reviews. New to this year’s Summit were “Buzz Sessions”

which gave attendees the opportunity to get up close and

personal with top industry leaders as they discussed key topics

in a small and more intimate setting.

Don’s heartfelt passion for the industry – education and

business building - shone brightly during the entire event and

the Eufora culture of family and caring was undeniable. We

look forward to carrying on his legacy next October at the BIG

EVENT, 2016 Global Connection!

The out pouring of support for Don’s beloved charity Childhelp®

has been monumental thanks in part to our distributor partners.

Eufora would like to recognize each one of our distributor part-

ners for their donations and support. Special thanks go to

Howard Hafetz of Raylon Corporation, for

spearheading donations made to Child-

help® in honor of Don, Geno Barbo and

Shane Hanson of Salon Service Group for

their generous donation of $5,000. In total

the contributions of our distributor part-

ners in honor of Don totaled over $19,000,

and the number just continues to grow.

We are truly honored and so fortunate to

have such amazing partners. YOU MAKE

Over the past 10 years the Eufora Nation has raised over half a

million dollars in support of Childhelp®, and we continue to raise

the bar each year!

This year we honor Kat Riley from Katherine Jon Salon in Port

Jefferson New York with the Eufora Friends’ Award. Kat and her

team raised over $10,000 for Childhelp® during 2015. An

amazing contribution!!

What motivated Kat? She shares her story with us below:

“My salon has dedicated to Childhelp® for the past 8 years,

ever since we were introduced to them by Don and Beth.

Childhelp® gives 95% of proceeds to the children, rather than

administration. Having grown up in a close, loving family my-

self, and having a salon team that feels like a big family, I felt

an obligation to commit energy to helping those children who

are less fortunate and can't protect themselves.

New York State is one of the leading states in the nation for

child abuse, and we are determined to help turn that tide by

helping Childhelp® open the 1st "Safe Village" in the Northeast.

The very sad fact is, 5 children die every day as a result of child

abuse or neglect, and it is a vicious cycle that passes on

through generations. In our eyes if we just help one child, it

could change the future.

Over the years we have hosted

Carnivals, Golf Outings, Fashion

Shows, and Fun Celebrity Imper-

sonation Shows. This October we

did a Cut-a-Thon with a mini car-

nival, a silent auction, and we

were blessed with the support of

the local businesses and schools.

During April we sold "Hands of Hope", and in September we

participated in the Eufora "One Tip One Child" program. We

set our sights on reaching $10,000, and we did it!”

Nightclub in San Diego. Don worked with us on the inspiration

for the runway show, and I think the team did him proud!”

This past holiday season, Eufora also substantially grew its’ salesteam to include:

Roan Van AntwerpenRoan joins Eufora as Regional Director of Salesfor the Eastern division bringing his experienceas a seasoned professional in the beauty indus-try. His start years ago as a Regional Managerfor Sexy Hair United States lead to MarketingDirector for Procter and Gamble Europe andSales Director for Revlon Professional Africa.With his industry knowledge and foresight, we

look forward to the support, growth and development of our distribu-tors on the East Coast.

Tricia Westlind, West CoastTricia joined Eufora, and brings over 19 years ofsales and leadership experience in the profes-sional beauty industry. Having worked as a re-gional sales manager for the past 9 years withseveral manufacturers, Tricia has been responsi-ble for sales development of independent distri-bution. Tricia brings a great servants heart.

Melinda Davis is working with Exclusive Beauty Systems in Floridawhere she will cultivate this market. Melinda has worked for Euforapreviously as a sales consultant, and is now rejoining her Eufora family!

Additionally Lisa Bean is working exclusively with Evolve Salon Serv-ices in New England. She brings with her years of professional salonexperience as a sales consultant and her love and belief in Eufora.

Brynn Bewley and Sam BewleyThe Eufora family has always been close to the hearts of Brynn andSam. We are pleased to announce that they are now joining the cor-porate team full time. Brynn, a graduate of San Diego State Univer-sity will be working closely with our education team and alsocontributing her skills to our Marketing initiatives. 900 salon professionals traveled fromacross North America, Japan and the U.K.A true global “connection”!

Eufora rocked the fashion runway again at NYFW in

partnership with designer Katie Ermilio. A feminist

minimalist at heart, Katie Ermilio’s Spring 2016 collection

exudes a retro 1930’s feel. The clothes definitely have a

sporty look. There’s a bit of an athletic vibe, subtle but

it’s there, particularly in her on-trend rompers.

When it came to the hair, Katie collaborated with Team

Eufora to capture a “lived in” look, sort of slicked back

and distressed, like a girl went out for a run, then ran her

fingers through her hair and threw on a gown!

Bringing the look to life, Mirza Batonovic and Team
