Reno Charles Mutchler was born on June 24, 1942 in Bullhead, SD to Charles and Bertha (Little Eagle) Mutchler. He grew up and attended elementary school in Bullhead and Phoenix, AZ. He then attended school in Ft. Yates, ND. until his sophomore year. Reno met Mavis Red Bear in 1962 and they were married. To this union they had five children, Wilber, Melbert (Bill), Brenda, Ernie and Annie. In 1966-1967 he and his family moved to Denver, Colorado for Auto Mechanic relocation program. After he returned to Bullhead, Reno was employed with Ar- nold Brothers Ranch for many years. Reno went to school at United Tribes from 1971-1972 where he pursued his 1-year degree in Environmental Science. He married Lorraine Ward and from this union he had one son Reno Mutchler Jr. Over the years he stayed with each of his children until October 2017 he entered the Golden Living Center until its closing and was relocated to Black Hills Aventera Living Center until his passing. Reno is survived by his children, Bill (Lynn) Mutchler & family, Brenda (Tim) Harper & family, Rapid City, SD, Ernie (Carletta) Mutchler & family, Cannon Ball, ND, Annie Mutchler & family of Bullhead, SD, Reno Mutchler Jr. & fami- ly, daughter-in-law Faye Mutchler & family, his cousin, Alvina Long Chase & family Bullhead, SD, Raymond Elk Nation Rapid City, SD, Marilyn Elk Nation of Minneapolis, MN. Nephews, Mike (Adella) Kills Pretty Enemy Sr. & family, Gilbert Kills Pretty Enemy Sr., & family, Chris Kills Pretty Enemy-Maine, Ray- mond Otter Robe Jr., Frank Flying Horse Jr. & family, John Flying Horse, Pete Flying Horse & family, Orvin Flying Horse, Kirk Flying Horse & family, Nieces, Helen & Claurice (LaBruen) Kills Pretty Enemy, Celeste & Marsha Long Elk, Lois, Myrna, Jennie, Carmeleta Otter Robe & families, Jodene Flying Horse & family, Sherry Flying Horse-Sinya & family. Reno has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren to name. Reno was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Berta (Little Eagle) Mutchler, brothers, William Flying Horse Jr., George, Elmer, Raymond Flying Horse, Frank Flying Horse Sr., sisters, Ella Mae Kill Pretty Enemy, Rachel Otter Robe, Elaine Hayes, Ethel Long Elk, special nephew, Wesley (Theo) Long Elk, son Wilbur Mutchler, grandson, Heype Weasel and granddaughter, Mandy Mutchler.
