Selling Monday, November 9th
H I P9 9
In foal to
As the youngest half-sister to the dominant and spectacular
RUSHING FALL, QUEEN ELI represents a young and exciting addition to
any broodmare band.
In foal to MORE THAN READY's dual-surface Grade 1 winning son
CATHOLIC BOY, QUEEN ELI is offered in foal on a very similar cross
to her 6x Grade 1 winning sister. This year, RUSHING FALL joined
the likes of Champions LADY ELI and BEHOLDER as the only mares to
win Grade 1s at ages 2, 3, 4, and 5.
OVERVIEW
CATHOLIC BOY
-
RUSHING FALL: A QUEEN OF THE TURF
Crossing the wire first in 11 of her 14 lifetime starts, the
sensational RUSHING FALL- QUEEN ELI's half-sister- has recorded 10
lifetime Graded Stakes wins, 6 Grade 1 wins and over $2,500,000 in
earnings. She is one of the most DOMINANT forces in the loaded
filly/mare turf division and seems to be getting better with
age.
Not only did she score back-to-back editions of the G1 Jenny
Wiley in course-record time, but she also achieved the rare
distinction of winning a Grade 1 at ages 2, 3, 4, and 5.

RUSHING FALL: A QUEEN OF THE TURF
Earning Grade 1 wins at ages 2, 3, 4, and 5 is no easy task.
Only two other mares have accomplished the feat since the start of
the Graded Stakes era (since 1976)- Champions BEHOLDER and LADY
ELI.
RUSHING FALL is a true queen of the turf and is well on her way
to running herself right in to the hall of fame.

IN FOAL TO CATHOLIC BOY
QUEEN ELI is offered in foal on 1 cover (FEB-19) to the
dual-surface, multiple Grade 1 winning CATHOLIC BOY (More Than
Ready). Her resulting foal is bred on a similar cross to Rushing
Fall.
By the internationally successful sire MORE THAN READY out of
the BERNARDINI mare Song of Bernadette, CATHOLIC BOY boasts an
extremely versatile pedigree, evidenced by his Grade 1 wins in the
G1 Belmont Derby (turf) and G1 Travers Stakes (dirt) during his
sophomore year. He joins 2x HOTY California Chrome and the
legendary Secretariat as the only 3-year-old colts to capture Grade
1 events on both surfaces.
"He's so good theothers didn't even have a PRAYER!"

FUTURE FAMILY UPDATES
QUEEN ELI is a young broodmare carrying her first foal (1 cover;
FEB-19) by the multiple Grade 1 winning CATHOLIC BOY. While she was
never able to realize her full potential as a racehorse due to a
severe case of pneumonia as a juvenile, her future as a producer is
bright.
The unraced Homecoming Dance (Vindication) is already the dam of
2 Black Type/Graded Black Type performers in her first 5 foals. Her
2018 Paynter filly sold for $210,000 at this year's OBS Spring
Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale to Kenny McPeek and she foaled a
colt by GOOD MAGIC this year.
The only other half-sister under the 1st dam is SW/G3P Milam
(Street Sense). Milam's first foal, a colt by Pioneerof the Nile,
sold for $400,000 at the 2019 Keeneland September sale and her
filly by Curlin sold for $250,000 to White Birch Farm, Inc in 2020.
She has a QUALITY ROAD colt on the ground and is currently in foal
to Triple Crown winner JUSTIFY.
