IMPULSIVE FORCE

Introduction
What causes the car to be bumped
when there are collision occurred between
the car and an object?
Impulsive force is the enormous amount
of force acting for a very small time on a body
mv-mu tF=
For example ,A karate expert can break
thick wooden slab with his bare hand that
moves at a very fast speed. The short
impact time results in a large impulsive
force on the wooden slab.
The karate expert hits the stone swiftly . Therefore, force is bigger.
Problem Statement
What are the factors that influence the amount of Impulsive Force ?
Time MassSpeed
When an object crushes on a hard surface will cause a large impulsive force?
Stone Sponge
Egg Egg
Why the athletic needed to bend their leg while making a long jump or a high jump?
What will happen if without applying the knowledge of
Impulsive Force?
Arghh!!
Objective
To help people realize the importance of Impulsive Force in daily life
General Objective:- To determine whether the different surface will affect the impulsive force
- The effect of increasing or decreasing of time of impact on impulsive force
- To determine whether the velocity will affect the impulsive force
- To determine whether the different mass of object will affect the impulsive force
Do you think that impulsive force important in saving life?
Conclusion of the Result of Questionnaire
Do anyone know what is impulsive force?
About 60% of teachers don’t know About 70% of students don’t know
So, overall 65% don’t know it actually.

Apparatus & Materials are prepared for conducting experiment.
Members are setting up the sponge for preparation of experiment.
Members are preparing the scale diagram for calculating the displacement of the sponge after collide by egg
The scale diagram & sponge are done prepared.
Members are measuring the distance 2 meters for carrying experiment.
The distance 2 meters is done measured
Members are discussing how to conduct the experiment.
The reading of displacement of the sponge is taken & recorded.
