As the second intellectual output of the ISSA Project, an interactive e-platform has been
developed in an active way by the members. As stated in the proposal of the project to Turkish
National Agency, this e-platform will enable both partners and individuals dealing with this
problem such as counsellors or administrators to share ideas related to Project and case of
Student Absenteeism and Early School Leaving.
The e-platform has been designed to be in use free of charge even after the deadline of
the project. Everything will be recorded for the security. The sections, titles and content has
been designed according to the results of Intellectual Output 1.

The user categories are divided into four categories in which related user types take
place:
- Teacher
- Student
- Parents
- Psychological Counsellor

The categorization of these user types are also defined according to the results of
Intellectual Output 1 which indicates that user types of the platform must be formed of those
who are directly related to student.
After the registration process a confirmation mail with a password is sent to the e-mail
address of the user and with this password user can log in to the e-platform directly. The top of
the screen is designed in a compact style so that the user can see important headlines about the
project in general.

In addition to these main titles the user can also change the language of the e-platform.
E-platform works in the languages of the partners and in English.
On the left section of the e-platform; the photo of the user, user title, topic list, topic
opened by the user, profile page, news, online support and sign out buttons take place.

In the section of the “topic list”, the topics opened by other users and comments are
viewed in chronological order which enables the user to see all the topics by order.

In addition to this, if the user wants to search anything in the topics, s/he can search this
in search bar and related topics will be displayed on the screen.

If the user wants to make a comment on a topic, that can be done so easily. After clicking
on the topic, the related page will be displayed and below the screen, old comments will be
seen. At the bottom of the page, the user can make a comment and with the button of “Save”
the comment will be seen on the main page of the screen.
If the user wants to open a topic, s/he can make this from the “My Topic” button on the
left. On the screen, the user will see “Add New Topic” button. Here the user can open a
discussion very easily. The system will also ask some keywords which will make the topic
visible and accessible to the individuals who search anything about absenteeism.

After clicking “My Profile” button, the user can upload her/his photo and update the
information sections of type of user, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, birth year,
nationality and languages.
In the section of “news”, the users can see the news about education, absenteeism and
early school leaving which are formed and uploaded by admins. The user can also search any
news using search bar.

In the section of “online support”, users can ask anything directly to the admins, get
information about absenteeism in detail and get online support free of charge.
Everything in the e-platform is under the control of admins of each partner countries. In
case of any inappropriate comment or discussion, the admins can make revisions in appropriate
with pedagogical approach or can delete it. In section of “Admin Process” panel, there are the
buttons of topic list, comment list, new list, page list, user list and administrator.

Using the topic list button, the admin can see the topics and comments that are waiting
for approval. If there is a density in the e-platform, the admin can transform the e-platform open
access mode. In this section the admin can also add or update a news in the e-platform.

accordance with the results of Qualitative, Quantitative and Need Analyses conducted within

the Project, has more than 400 active users from different countries and some of these users are
from non-EU Countries.
The e-platform will be used till 2024 under the control of Project Partners and even after
then just like other Intellectual Outputs, the e-platform will be free of charge again and will be
in use under the control of stakeholders if demanded.
