Example immediate actions in support of agreed sub-national maintenance policy

1. DGH develops and promotes technical guidelines with government and industry.

2. DGH or Agent provide technical review and evaluation of network management and investment plans.

3. Regional governments support maintenance by: 1. Providing sufficient and multi-year funding 2. Using DGH technical guidelines to maintain roads3. Planning maintenance on the basis of budget availability and development

targets.4. Enforce the production and use of comprehensive plans.
