Dear Leader,

An amazing opportunity has come to Delaware! Leaders from all over the state are partnering together with Impact World to take the Gospel public. Impact World was created in 1993, and since it’s inception has partnered with 1,000’s of communities in over 50 countries and has seen over 1,000,000 people surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.

As you know, our nation is in a very critical time in our history. There are many challenges our nation is facing with the economy, foreign policy, and the moral fabric of our communities being questioned on a daily basis. It is going to take wisdom to properly navigate these complex situations. As Christians we know that wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, and not relying on our own understanding, but acknowledging Him is all of our ways.

However, the stark reality is that the majority of the emerging generations who are rising up to take leadership are far from God, and not seeking his counsel. Generation X (30-45 years of age) has only 15% participating in any type of church activity and the millennial are only at 4% (15-30 years of age).

This is a reality that we can change! But it most start with us taking the Gospel public, and introducing our children, grandchildren, family, and friends to God. The one who makes all things new and can restore the years that have been lost. This is where Impact World is not only a strategic partnership, but I believe an answer to many of our prayers.

2.1 What is Youth With A MissionYouth With A Mission Founded in 1960, YWAM is an international, interdenominational missions movement dedicated to fulfilling Christ’s command to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. The task is divided into three areas:

Evangelism: YWAM’s motto is “‘To know God and to make Him known.” YWAM uses dozens of creative approaches, from traditional preaching and literature distribution to less traditional drama, mercy ministries and tent making.

Training: YWAM’s University of the Nations has seven colleges with more than 70 basic training programs. The university has more than 120-campus locations worldwide.

Mercy Ministries: The love of God is demonstrated to the isolated and the poor in practical ways through medical, dental and counseling teams, vocational rehabilitation, agricultural training, nutrition services, and work with refugees. YWAM has over 25,000 permanent staff at 531 centers in 120 nations. Each year more than 350,000 short-term missionaries are involved in outreaches worldwide.

Statement of Purpose YWAM is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus Christ personally to this generation, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As Christians of God’s Kingdom, we are called to love, worship and obey our Lord, to love and serve His Body, the Church, and to present the whole Gospel for the whole person, throughout the whole world.

2.2 What is Impact WorldImpact World Tour provides opportunity and focus Impact World Tour provides an effective and relevant means for the local church to express Christ’s message. Performing arts, sports, and music, in a campaign style evangelism event, provide a focal point for evangelism in regions throughout the world.

Impact World Tour has three phases

1. Preparation: A successful campaign is built on complete spiritual, as well as organizational preparation.

2. Proclamation: IWT presents the Gospel in 21st century relevant ways, using elements of culture to deliver the message of Jesus.

3. Planting: Discipleship: we aim to disciple on three levels: one-on-one, in small groups and neighborhood fellowships.

Impact World Tour is not an event – it’s a movement! Exciting prayer strategies, maximized involvement of local Christians in planning and preparation, seminars on revival and discipleship, and facilitation of personal evangelism all work together to bring forth lasting fruit. It’s a process that aims to make an impact on your life, church, and community.

3.1 Outreach Teams

Team Xtreme Shattering concrete bricks and ice blocks with bare hands and forearms, blowing up hot water bottles,snapping steel handcuffs in two and bending steel bars around necks and between teeth are just some of the incredible acts performed by Team Xtreme. For over a decade, the members of Team Xtreme have travelled the world performing these strength feats and sports stunts while motivating young people with wild stories and important lessons.

Global Expressions GX is a global expression of aggressive skating, hip hop dancing, and BMX biking. Youth from all over the world will hit the stage and blow your mind with skateboard airs and freestyle tricks. Hand plants, frontside airs, grizzes, crossups; you name it, they can do it. You’ll also see our international dance team, bustin’ the moves to a powerful, epic beat!

The GX crew has travelled the world with a positive message and awesome demonstrations of boards, blades, and beat. Team members come from many nations, including Norway, Canada, New Zealand, and all over the US.

Island Breeze The grace and mana of the pacific

Internationally renowned Island Breeze, a group of musicians and dancers from throughout Polynesia, present a cultural extravaganza as part of the Impact World Tour. Founded in 1979 in American Samoa, Island Breeze features performers from ten different Pacific Islands. Their colorful, energetic programs include authentic costumes, traditional music and intricate dances representing a variety of Pacific cultures, from Hawaii’s graceful hula to the haka of the New Zealand Maori!

1. How much does it cost to attend the IW events?There is no charge for entry to IWT events. Where possible, the localIWT budget is raised & met beforehand.

2. How is income generated & how are budget expenses raised forthe IWT Campaigns?Within each city or town, where IWT Campaigns are held, funds areraised for the local budget from individuals, businesses & local churches.

3. Are staff salaried out of IWT income & included in the budgets?All full-time staff are volunteer workers and raise their own livingexpenses.

4. How do staff live if they don’t receive salaries/wages?All staff raise their own financial support through the generosity offriends, families & local churches. No one receives a salary and allfinances given are put 100% towards the facilitation of the localoutreach, IWT general operation expenses or designated areas at therequest of the donor.

5. How can I support the vision financially?Donations towards IW expenses are much appreciated &welcome.
