Newfoundland and Labrador State Council of the Knights of Columbus Essay Contest – The essay topic this year “THE IMPORTANCE OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM”. The essay should be approximately 500 words. All students from Grade 7 to Grade 12 are eligible. Essays should be submitted to me (Paul Morrissey State Warden/State Program Director P.O. Box 22 North River, NL A0A 3C0) by March 31st, 2017. First prize $200.00, second prize $100.00 and third prize $50.00. The prize winners will be announced at the State Convention in April.
