The Knights of Columbus Council is offering two (2) $500 scholarships to two (one scholarship for each person) current seniors from Immaculate Conception Parish who will graduate in 2019 from any accredited high school that the parishioner attends. Funds from this scholarship must be used for the upcoming 2019-20 school year for the recipient to attend a college, university or technical school. Additional criteria includes: a GPA of at least a “B” average, involvement in school activities, evidence of service to our church, family and community, a letter of recommendation from a school or church official, and a candidate letter expressing why you are requesting the scholarship. Applications will be available on Thursday, March 1, in the display case located in the narthex or available from the parish office. Application deadline is Friday, April 13, 2019.

Young Adult Winter 2019 Schedule
(Subject to change.) Wednesdays, 6 p.m.: ICYA Holy Hour. Meet in the narthex at 5:45 p.m. We want to pray with you and walk with you on your journey. May this time of prayer be refreshing and strengthening. Thursdays, 6:30 p.m.: Sports in the gym. This is a time of casual sports, but enough to get us up and active. No sports ability is necessary, just a willingness to pump up adrenaline, blow off steam, and burn calories. Meet by the entrance off the Marian Center around 6:15 p.m.
HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP Today, March 10 - Our Last pancake breakfast fundraiser for our summer mission trip to Copperhill, Tennessee. NO Youth Group meeting tonight! March 15-17 - Christian Awakening Retreat, Archdiocesan retreat for juniors and seniors . . . Contact Lizzie if interested. Trivia Night was a huge success! The best fish in town can be
caught on Friday nights at the Knights of
Columbus sponsored Lenten Fish Fry. The Lenten Friday feast will continue each Friday until April 12th. Serving times are 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the Marian Center. Boston scrod, shrimp or pizza; hush puppies with every meal size, with a choice of two sides from the six different sides, including the “Vegetable of the Week”! There has been a price increase this year due to the increase in cost over the past couple years and the addition of a 6% sales tax. Meal sizes will be: Large Meal, $12.00, including 2 filets or 12 shrimp and 2 sides; Regular Meal, $10.00, includes 1 filet or 6 shrimp and 2 sides; Small Meal $6.00 (adults or children 6-12) half portions of Fish or 3 Shrimp and 2 sides; children under 5 eat free. A 6% sales tax is included in the above pricing by State law. We accept American Exp, VISA, Master Card, and Discover credit cards. Please come join us for a good time and a fantastic fish supper. In addition, again this year we will be accepting cash donations to be used to support our local food pantries: Our Daily Bread Ministry of IC and the Henry County Help Center.
