Meet the Artist Scott McIntyre graduated from the Atlanta College of Art in 1986 and joined Macy's Federated
Department Stores in the Display and Design Division. While working at Macy's, he also taught painting
techniques for stage sets in the Theater Department of Emory University. In 1990, working as a
freelance artist for several Interior Designers and Decorators in Atlanta and Marietta, Ga. Scott's mural
work emerged. While having a keen eye for design and detail, Kirsten assists in the mural execution
from start to finish. Kirsten has a Masters degree in School Counseling, and also many years of
experience in a designer capacity for the furniture company, Storehouse.
Seventeen years of Scott's mural work can be found in many public and private schools, churches,
hospitals, corporations and residences. Throughout the Southeast and Midwest, Scott's work has been
highlighted in country clubhouses for the Flournoy Development Company and as far west as
Hollywood, California. Other corporate clients have included the Children's Heart Center, Spencer Stuart
Company, Wells Fargo Financial, Continental Gin Systems, Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Atlanta
Symphony Showhouse.
Clients across the United States have commissioned Londonberry Mural Press for mural work, as well as
paintings and illustrations for publication. His illustrations can be found in the books India Unveiled and
Souls Grown Deep by Bob Arnett and William Arnett. In addition, his work has been featured in Atlanta
Homes and In Style magazines.
