Image Manipulation Before I edited this photograph in Photoshop it was dull, the background was not very appealing and also the colours were slightly off. I decided to make this photo into something brighter and more eye catching. As her cheeks were pale I added the colour pink to them and softly used the paint brush on a low opacity and applied it too her cheek bones. I also made her lips pinker by using the same technique, I also made her hair lighter, her eyebrows darker and also her skin tone lighter just by repeating this method.

Image ManipulationI removed the grey, dull background and created a clean white one to replace it. This helped my photo look more professional and brighter. This is the process I completed this by. I simply cut around the main image and selected the background using the polygonal tool which is on the left hand side of Photoshop where multiple tolls are shown. I simply deleted all of the background and repeated this process until my background image was a clear white colour.

Image ManipulationThis was my finished image. I think this image is a lot better and improved as the original was dull and did not look very professional. She looks more like a princess. As this was the theme of the image. Her complexion is brighter and flawless, and her hair is the same colour as Princess Anna (the princess she was characterising) By using Photoshop it has helped me make this image ready to be displayed on my article and has helped me achieve a professional, good quality image.

Image ManipulationThis was the image I chose to use as my magazine front cover, I liked it as her pose is very professional and I felt like I could edit this to make it look even more professional. I cropped this photo to get rid of any background or detail I did not need to display. I simply used the tool bar on the left hand side and selected crop. I then dragged the box from the corner to where I wanted the photo to crop, and then deleted the background area by pressing complete. This was an easy, simple process which helped me achieve a professional look.

Image ManipulationThis is my completed final magazine front cover, I have edited lots of sections and make it look more professional and to a good quality. I am happy with the outcome of my magazine, and think it would be successful as a professional magazine cover. I have added relevant text and also made the title look almost 3D. Which I did on Photoshop. The image below shows how I have completed this look on my magazine name.
