Basic Demonstration Examples
Extended Depth of Field
1. Open Paper1.seq 2. Choose Process – Extended Depth of Field3. Add All in Image List Tab and put images in
order of numbering4. Choose the Focus Setting Tab and Select
composite best-focus image, maximum local contrast and generate topographic map. Click Create
5. Activate the topographic image and select Enhance – Equalize – Best Fit and Enhance - Apply contrast
6. Select Measure – Surface Plot. Select Style tab – shaded and textured and increase/decrease the z-height. Select Surface tab to select the “sharp” image. Select the ViewPoint tab for the different angles and rotations
7. Select from main menu Process-Filters and do a LoPass Filter on the topographic image to smoothen the edges.
Color Composite
1. Open DemoBlue, DemoRed.tif and DemoGrn.tif
2. Select Window-Tile Images3. Select Process-Color Composite4. Select Add to add the three images
and their colors into the result image5. Activate DemoGrn.tif and Select
Enhance-Invert Image6. In the Color Composite Window select
New and Select Add to add the three images again, but make DemoGrn.tif the background image
7. Additionally you can Process Filters Sculpt the DemoGrn Image to have a pseudo-DIC effect and do step 4 again.
Co-localization
1. Open DemoRed.tif and DemoGrn.tif2. Select Measure-CoLocalization and
the settings as on the right picture and click Forward
3. Do the same with Create 3D View activated
4. Select the G-R co-loc image (green-red) and draw the AOI in that image
5. Select Create mask of co-localizing objects and Analyze
