Delegate Supervision, Tutoring and Coaching during the programme
“Coaching Supervision is the interaction that occurs when a
coach periodically brings his or her coaching work
experiences to a coaching supervisor in order to engage in
reflective dialogue and collaborative learning for the
development and benefit of the coach and his or her clients.” (International Coach Federation)
Throughout the programme, and specifically in connection with your Module 2
coaching practice, you will be part of a supervision group and have the opportunity
to reflect on your practice both one to one, and as part of a reflective group.
Eighty20 Focus offers ongoing further supervision to graduates of the programme
and this will be discussed towards the end of Block four.
Each delegate will also be assigned to a programme tutor, whose role it is to help
you think through your course assignments and to serve as a sounding board as you
seek to fully understand and apply the programme content to your practice. You
will be assigned to your tutor towards the end of Block one.
Finally, each delegate on the course will be offered the opportunity to engage in
one to one coaching conversations with the Eighty20 Focus tutor of their choice.
Predominately conducted via Skype, and frequently of a fairly short duration, these
conversations are offered to you as a means of allowing you to think through what
is going on in your normal working life as you learn to bring more coaching and
mentoring into your role as a leader within your organisation. Please fee free to
discuss this with us further at any time.
