IRATION
The State of Jharkhand as it is today has been given this distinct political identity by Late Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee during his tenure as Prime Minister. To pay a tribute to one of the greatest leader in the history of India, IIM Ranchi is establishing a Centre for Leadership, Policy and Governance. CONCEP
TThere has been a lot of specialization courses and programs booming in the field of Public Policy and Governance and a separate work force of Policy Professionals is being developed, but at IIM Ranchi through ABVCLPG, we aim to establish a world class Research Centre where we aim to mushroom these policy professionals into policy leaders. We aim to conduct research and programs to train our stakeholders in leadership skills, policy expertise and intricacies of governance and institutions. There have been centers and institutes working in the area of public policy and whereas some are working in the area of leadership development. But, at this center we wish to equip the policy professionals with leadership skills, and leaders with sound knowledge of policy formulation, design, implementation and analysis. With the help of the Institute’s wider networks, the center will be collaborating with various government, non-government and corporate entities to do a meaningful research and affect not only political governance but corporate governance too.
