Coordinators’ Corner Summer has had its fun and now Fall is right around the corner! And we have some great events coming this month.

On September 11th, Patriot Day, we will hold a memorial cere-mony — our local fire house and JROTC Color Guard will be showing their patriotism, we hope you’ll be there too! We would like to wish you a very happy Grandparent’s Day on the 13th.     Understanding Your Blood Pressure  Did you know that one in three American adults suffer from high blood pressure? Which can threaten healthy arteries, damage the brain, eyes, and kidneys, and lead to life-threatening conditions such as heart disease and stroke. A Blood Pressure Reading appears as two numbers, systolic pressure over diastolic pressure. Up to 120/80 ———-> Normal 120/80 or higher ——>High Risk 130/80 or higher ——>Treatment required if you have dia-

Happy Birthday to You…

This month’s Mystery Employee grew up in many different places, including Kentucky, Germany, Michigan and, of course, Texas. He has one sibling. Ask him about his three sons, and you wouldn’t find a prouder father. One of his favorite things to do is listen to music and he is an avid record collector. His favorite genre is rhythm and blues and his favorite artists are Sade, Prince, and Stevie Wonder. His other passion is traveling. Although his favorite vacation spot is Galveston Island, the best place he’s ever visited was Cozumel,

Mexico. When asked what’s next on your bucket list, he said, “Going to Italy.” His favorite quote is from Bobby McFerrin, “Don’t worry be happy.” Can you guess who our Mystery Em-ployee is? Last Month: Bobby Watkins

Prescriptions will be picked up from local pharmacies Monday through Friday. Requests need to be turned in to the Front Desk no later than 3:00pm daily, and prescriptions that are ready will be picked up from pharmacies no later than 3:30pm the same day otherwise the pick up will be the next day. We pick up pre-scriptions at Ft. Sam on Wednesday mornings.
