Founder Director• Mahendran Khedkar is the man behind the

Ifloat India. Born in July 1964 in Chennai, he has done Diploma in Machine Tools, Maintenance and Repairs (D.M.T.M.R.).

• He loves reading, listening to all kinds of music, training and inspiring people. He has undertaken more than 100 motivational training programs in corporate sector.

• He loves to speak in English, Hindi, Marathi and Tamil too. Other hobbies include copy writing, advertising and media planning.

What is Floatation?• Floating in a floatation tank is a way of achieving extreme

well being. Essentially, you spend an hour or so lying quietly in the dark, suspended in a warm solution of Epsom Salt about 10 inches (27 centimeters) deep and so dense that you float effortlessly. Floatation Room is equipped with underwater speakers through which relaxing music can be played and a light inside.

• Floatation tanks are also known Samadhi Tanks, Isolation Chambers, Sensory Deprivation Tanks and REST Chambers. REST stands for Restricted Environmental Simulation Therapy. You float in a salt water solution in a specially designed tank, which resembles a large enclosed bathtub. The tank is built so that all outside distractions such as sight, sound, tactile sensations and gravity are eliminated. The water is warmed to 35 degree centigrade.

Who can Float?• Anybody can enjoy floatation. There is no bar for age and

gender.

• The person taking Float Session should be of sound mind and {without} under the influence of toxic susbstances.

• Students, teachers, sports person, creative personnel and men in uniform and everyone can take a Float Session which is usually of one hour.

Pre-requisites• You need to have a room space of at least 200 square feet

with proper ventillation, electrical & water supply, shower & washroom facility and rest is taken care by Ifloat India.

• There are consumables like salts, disinfection chemicals and tank test kid which is provided by Ifloat India along with one year warranty.

• Ifloat India has successfully installed Float Rooms at Pune, Mumbai & Hyderabad
