If Roses Grow in Heaven
By Delores M. Garcia
If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for
me,
Place them in my Mother’s
arms and tell her they’re
from me. Tell her I love her
and miss her, and when she
turns to smile, place a kiss
upon her cheek and hold her
for awhile.
Because remembering her is
easy. I do it everyday, but
there’s an ache within my
heart that will never go
away.
Your Daughter,
Barbara Ivey
QUEEN
That’s what you are to
me. Someone so
radiant and precious
who would go beyond
the stars for me.
That’s why I always
prayed for you and got
down on bended knees.
You were truly a bless-
ing. I wanted nothing
but the best for you
which anyone could
see. I can’t say what
you may have meant to
the rest of the world,
but you were truly a
QUEEN to me. A
QUEEN of my heart and
forever always will be.
Now may you rest in
peace.
Your Grand Daughter,
Mellisa Ivey
