If I’d Only Known Then...
Lessons learned. Mostly the hard way.
By Matt Homann
and Gracie
Create something new every day.
You don’t need all the pieces to begin.
Be silly more.
Upside down is better sometimes.
Learn to dance with others.
Embrace “make believe.”
Be kind. To everything.
Try things that look yucky...
... and show others what you learned.
You can never read too much.
Choose your projects carefully...
... because some are dogs.
Avoid negative and mean people...
... because they suck.
The edge is a cool place to be.
Find where you’re happy. Go there often.
Save room for others.
Pick one thing that makes you sad...
... and find a way to stop doing it.
Have an answer to “Are we there yet?”
Focus on the fun, not the dough.
Clean up your own messes.
Leap with reckless abandon.
You don’t always have to land on your feet.
Everyone’s overwhelmed sometimes.
Find your biggest fans.
Ask for support when you need it...
... and you’ll never feel alone.
Always smile...
... and enjoy the ride.
Now, go get ‘em!
Thank you.
