Detroit is possibly one of the most complicated cities I have ever seen. For example, the population is continuously decreasing but concert halls and clubs are always packed. Even though Detroit has an extremely depressed economy, the suburbs of Detroit are home to some of Americas richest people (and even a few celebrities). 5. WHAT I LIKE ABOUT DETROIT.-The restaurant scene is fantastic.-There are opera stars, famous rock stars, andcomedic giants all performing every night.-The Detroit Tigers (baseball) and the Detroit RedWings (hockey). 6. I CANT REALLY RELATE TO THE INHABITANTS OF DETROITAlthough, I love the exciting life of major cities, Detroitscrime rate and poor economy is difficult to handle.In order to have fun in Detroit, I have to be really carefulwith my surroundings.People are also typically uneducated or unmotivated in thecity.However, I have managed to surround myself with friendsand family members who have the same determinationand moral values as I. 7. HOW TO SAVE DETROITThe major problem with Detroit lies within the cities corruption. Taxpayers money should move towards building reconstruction This would aesthetically improve the city, real estate market, and safety. The Detroit public schools program needs to be improved. Majority of Detroits violent crimes are conducted by the youth. Morale in Detroit needs to be restored. I see people everyday who simply gave up on their lives in this city. 8. MY FUTURE PLANSI would love to live in a major city when I finish graduate school. However, the bestdecision is for me to leave Detroit for a safer and more successful city.
