    (As Reported to the Federal Trade Commission) 2,200 Oregonians reported this crime to the FTC

    in 2002.

    Oregon ranked 10th in the Nation with 64.3Identity Theft victims per 100,000 population.This is an increase from 36.7 per 100,000 for2001.

    Salem had the second-highest number of IdentityTheft victims in Oregon in 2002 with 139.
