Identifying Features of Linear and Exponential FunctionsStandard: A.F.IF.4
Essential Question: How do I identify key features from a graph of a linear or exponential function?
What to identify for a linear function...

Reminders:
When finding intercepts, plug in 0 for the other coordinate and solve. Or just look at the graph and see where the graph of the line touches each axis.
The domain (all x-values) and the range (all y-values) will be "All Real Numbers" for each linear function.
Asymptote: a line that the curve continually gets closer to but never touches (you will only be responsible for the horizontal asymptote of an exponential function).
Let's Graph...Graph the following equation by a table of values or by using slope intercept form. Identify the domain, range, x-int, y-int, rate of change, intervals of inc/dec., and end behavior.f(x) = 2x - 3
