Cuckoo bird – because its to do with waking up and energy but with a twist. The bird will be a cartoon.

Volcano – The number 32 is warped into a triangle and there will be a transparent section that will show the drink (on the can it will just be orange). The volcano will represent the burst of energy. The colour of the drink fits in well with the colour magna/lava.

Ingredients – It’s called Irn-Bru 32 because of the amount of ingredients it has in it. I will create a clipping mask on the 32 and fill the numbers with different ingredients.

A Boxer – training but the punching bag has the design of the can on it. A hole can be made, like on Captain America and he keeps breaking the bags, and the drink can come bursting out. This show the product and the burst of energy and strength it gives you.

A Hotty – Use an attractive women I the advert to appeal to the target audience of males. It will be a close up of her drinking the product so the can is also a focus.

Cuckoo

The bird is going to be rude and loud. This will keep up with the attitude Irn-Bru have created for themselves. The font will be out there and in your face. The colour scheme will stay blue and orange, to make the public know that they are part of the same brand.

VolcanoThe original idea was to have the number 32 warped into the shape of the volcano, but the bottom left image has made me think that the falling magna that trickles down the front of the volcano can create the numbers. The path they leave will trace the shape 32.

The lava could be transparent but I don’t think it will give the same affect if it is. The explosion at the top of the volcano can be transparent but I want the numbers to have the red hot lava effect. Because the drink is orange have a transparent panel will work well with the volcano theme.

The font will be bold and clear like the original brand font. The 32 will be thinner as it is meant to be made out of a track of lava.

Ingredients

The main ingredients that are easy to get an image of, like carbonated water and citric acid, will be sourced and collaged together to create an image. This image will be used for the clipping mask on 32.

The Boxer

The burst of liquid will also show how refreshing it is.

I wasn’t planning on having an copy a part from the design on the can but if I do the font will be the same as the font on the can to link in the advert with the brand.Copy ideas:Refreshingly strongFight for another roundBurst of energy that refreshes your mind

The colours are dark to help the product stand out.

The Hotty

The image I use will not be as classy as a black and white photo for vogue. I could use black and white but keep the can colour to make the it stand out.

Il Grinta

This font is good as it is bold and easy to understand. However it does remind me of America as it is a similar font that they use for Universities. The product is Scottish and I don’t want to confuse the public by using an American style font. It is also quite hard to read on a background which isn’t good as the advert will have a dark background.

Illuminate

This font isn’t clear to read, it is better with a background but the z is very hard to understand, especially when the font is large. This is a problem as the font will have to be large so it catches the public’s eye. I like how the font was broken up and not solid. It is very modern and techno which will appeal massively to the target audience.

In my head

I really like this font, I think I will be using this on my advert. It isn’t to formal and stands out. It looks good on a background and it’s clear to read. The messy, carefree style of the font fits in with the attitude that the company have. It is also very similar to the font they used on the original advert but this one fits the bill better.
