ICS – 400ADVANCED INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM FOR

COMMAND & GENERAL STAFF, COMPLEX INCIDENTS AND MACS

Each student must successfully complete the following course prior to taking ICS – 400.

*Unless the student attended the ICS – 300 just offered.

Prerequisites:

Ÿ ICS – 300 (Intermediate ICS)

Completion certificates for this course must accompany the student enrollment application.*

For students to receive certification, IS – 100.c, IS – 200.b, IS-700.b and IS-800.c are also required.

Course Description:

This two-day course provides training and resources for personnel who require advanced application ofthe Incident Command System (ICS), and expands upon information covered in IS-100, IS-200, IS 700and IS-800, as well as ICS-300. It will include: major and/or complex incident/event management, Area

that may use an Area Command.Command, multi-agency coordination and Emergency Operations Center management for incidents
