FAIR

The fair is a typical holiday celebrated throughout Spain, although not at the same time. There are many attractions and places where you can eat the typical food, have fun and dance. In each region of Spain there is a traditional dress and dance, for example in Andalusia the dance is "Sevillanas" and the typical costume is the gypsy dress.

EASTER

Easter is the annual Christian celebration of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.

Easter in Spain is celebrated with the parade of images, called processions, usually organized by a brotherhood. Each Easter procession may include one or more guilds, each with their step or steps, which are usually religious images of the Passion of Christ, though there are exceptions like the steps of saints. Also listed penitents or Nazarenes. Penitents that take part in processions often wear conical hats, very characteristic of Spain. They cover their faces to be anonymous.
