ICON Team CreditsICON Team Credits
• PHILIPP KLEITSCH SR. (Mentor / Consultant) As ICON’s Mentor the last 25 years with over 50 years experience, his expertise is from the old school of fine German craftsmanship. Now semi retired from his own highly successful tooling and molding company he consults for ours. This attention to fine details has given ICON the edge needed and required by today's sophisticated projects.
• DANNY KLEITSCH (President / Project Manager / Designer / CEO) Danny has 20 years of experience building high quality injection molds and 8 years of tooling design and part solid modeling. As Project Manager he follows the path from Art to Part with zero defect to assure the finest quality part possible.
• STEVE KLEITSCH (V.President / Production Manager / COO) With Steve's 25 years of experience in production he is the heartbeat of our molding facility maintaining a smooth flow on the production floor.
• PHILIP KLEITSCH (V.President / CFO) Philip lends his 20 years of experience in building high quality injection
molds and tool room management. As CFO Philip keeps the tedious job lean manufacturing under control.
• TIMOTHY KISER (Senior Processing Engineer / VP Sales) In 2003 Tim came on board to enhance our team and break down barriers. Along with his 30 years of custom molding experience and he brought to ICON the latest molding technologies and techniques which include; Scientific Decoupled Molding, Design of Experiments, Cavity Pressure Sensor Technology, Robotics, Automation and Over-molding.
• LARRY MEEKER (Quality Control Director) Larry has over 25 years as Quality Control experience and is our ISO-9001 manager. As QC/QA director he is the head of the teams that handle all the PPAP’s / APQP’s / Validations.
• WORKFORCE (Our People) All of ICON’s employees are highly trained and qualified through continual training and by breaking down barriers between departments. This creates a positive atmosphere with an aim towards excellence and promotes creative thinking throughout our workforce.
• NEW FACILITYS In April 2006 we moved into our new 22,000 sq. ft facility and in late Fall 2008 we plan to open up our new 20,000 sq. ft Medical Division across the street to be able to keep up with our growing customers needs.
Quality SystemsQuality Systems• Our quality starts at the molding machine with rigorous
mold tryouts using systematic molding technology to produce zero defect parts.
• In 2004 we have adapted and conformed to ISO-9001.
• We are in the process implementing (APQP) Advanced product quality planning and control plan & FEMA, (PPAP) Production part approval process. With our goal to be fully implemented by 2009.
• Future certifications will be QS-9001, ISO-13485 and FDA compliance to be implemented by 2009.
Design & ToolingDesign & Tooling
• The ICON team starts with our customers solid model concepts or if needed we will create our own solid models. The solid models are turned into SLS (selective laser sintering) models if needed. After customer feedback the next step is to design the mold/tool drawings. Then we will proceed to build a prototype or production tooling to suit customers requirements. The final step is to sample tool through rigorous mold tryouts.
• ICON uses only world class CAD / CAM systems. Our design team and systems are continually updated with the latest software and training.
• ICON also builds complete Turn-Key Integration Systems which starts with Complete 3D mold designs and then building Class A tools, then we bring in house customers molding machine and support equipment, all automation and validate the whole process. When the Turn-Key has been completely validated the complete package is sent to the customers facility.
MoldingMolding
• ICON uses only high performance molding machines and support equipment that are less than five years old. These machines have been proven in the industry to produce precise and stable molding.
• ICON implements a systematic scientific decoupled molding
technique to create a error free path to the molding process, also a 28 step procedure to optimize the quality of the molded parts.
• Also we offer automation and lights-out operations in specific cells to keep up with our customers' production demands and also helps in part cost reductions .
• ICON’s main objective is to supply our customers with on time deliveries with zero defects through out the molding process.
