Eminescu’s Lime Tree

situated in The Copou Park, Eminescu’s Lime Tree has over 500 years

its name is given from the great Romanian poet, Mihai Eminescu, who used to rest and write poems under its shadow

in the past, it represented the place where people could meet and talk to the great poet, when he stayed in Iasi
