strengthen the basis for well informed national decisions and choices among technologies, technology providers and service providers

• Peer reviews • to provide assessments and assurance regarding the quality and

comprehensiveness of a State’s preparations for a nuclear power programme

• Direct assistance • with specific implementation tasks, including management of

projects in limited specific areas

1. Develop policy statement on services to be offered

2. Better define “services” and “direct assistance”

3. Consider “programme management” from perspective of developing NP programme: consider senior executive course.

4. Develop standard pre-feasibility and feasibility study definition
