II. Clicking on the "GO TO SMARTBOOK" tab will take you to the SmartBook view. It will also ask you if you want this to be your default view when you log on in the future. III. From the Smartbook view, you can then click on START LEARNING:

IV. That will take you to this view below, where you can practice vocabulary and grammar thematically as you work through the book: (See next page for more details.)

V. To return to the main LearnSmart page: Click on the icon with the 3 horizontal lines in the top right corner of the page:

This will open a pull-down menu where you can select "Go to LearnSmart" at the bottom.

STUDYING THEMATICALLY IN SMARTBOOK: 1. Choose a Vocabulary or Grammar Topic from the Preview pane by clicking on the picture icon. It will then be outlined in GREEN:

2. Once you have selected the topic, the right hand side of the SmartBook page will display the chapter page where this topic is introduced. 3. From within SmartBook, you can also access the corresponding Vocabulary or Grammar Topic in LearnSmart by clicking on the Practice tab just under the Smartbook icon.
