Let’s Start at the Very Beginning… What you need:

Computer and an iPod Touch or iPad iTunes account and password

Your iPod is married to your computer A method of payment Synching cord and/or charger

Do not synch your iPod with a computer unless it is the original computer that it was first synched with

Can only synch with one iTunes account

Downloading Apps Directly onto your iPod Touch when connected

To Delete an App You can delete an app directly on

your iPod Touch. App remains in your iTunes account so you can re-load it.

Can download and synch a product for personal, noncommercial use on any device you own or control.

Schools can sync a product for use either by: Single individual on one or more

devices Multiple individuals on a single shared

• Education institutions must purchase apps for each device the app is installed on

• When purchasing apps through iTunes with a normal iTunes account, you will find that the next time you download it, the app store will not ask you to pay for it

• To bypass this and stay in compliance with purchasing requirements, schools can signup for the Apple Volume Purchase Program at apple.com/itunes/education

• Through the VPP, schools can purchase 1-19 copies of an app for the regular price. Once you purchase 20, subsequent purchases of that app are 1/2 off.
