About the Seminar:
Travel and tourism is the largest service industry in India. It provides heritage, cultural, medical, business and sports tourism. The main objective of this sector is to develop and promote tourism, maintain competitiveness of India as tourist destination and improve and expand existing tourism products to ensure employment generation and economic growth. India is a large market for travel and tourism. It offers a diverse portfolio of niche tourism products - cruises, adventure, medical, wellness, sports, MICE, eco-tourism, film, rural and religious tourism. India has been recognised as a destination for spiritual tourism for domestic and international tourists. The World Tourism Organisation's in its 'Tourism 2020 Vision' has accepted the role of tourism as an integral part of the global economy and importance within the field of sustainable development. Due to development of tourism, an ample employment opportunity will be generated in Indian Economy with the available geological resources to the colorful history and culture of our country. The responsibility falls on our shoulder to educate and inform people everywhere and to create a healthy image so as to compel tourists to visit India. This will be achieved through synergy of multi disciplinary research and through conceptual based idea generation and discussion among academicians, management experts, industry professionals and students to exchange their knowledge, experience, research, findings and information about various aspects to promote Brand India.
Guidelines for Authors• Abstract/full papers may be submitted online or may be e-mailed
to [email protected]• All submitted abstract/full papers must be original work that is
not under submission/submitted/presented at another conference/seminar/journal or under consideration for publication in any other form. In case the authors have received financial/technical assistance for completing the abstract/full paper, they should acknowledge the same in the abstract/full paper so as to avoid conflicts of ownership.
• Maximum length of the abstract should be 200-400 words with up to 6 Key Words & full paper must be in between 3000-4000 words.
• The text should be double spaced and should be typed in Times New Roman style with a font size of 12 pts and 1 inch margin all around. Use standard indentation for paragraphs.
• At the end of the full paper, all references cited in the body text should be complete in all respects and arranged in alphabetical order. Authors should carefully check the list of references for completeness, accuracy and consistency.
