Helpful Worship Information
We’re Glad You’ve Come. This is a safe place, a sanctuary of worship and prayer,
comfort and justice-seeking for all God’s people and all
are welcome here
….just as you are.
Our church is a safe sanctuary for children..
We are proactive to protect our children with trained
staff, enlightened volunteers,
and aware congregants.
No concealed weapons of any type are allowed on
Tippecanoe Church premises.
Our children are invited to remain in worship with us.
We ask children be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout
our morning together!
During worship, children are welcome to use a book,
stuffed animal, or crayons and papers from the bottom
shelf of the cart at the back of the sanctuary. We want
the sanctuary to be home to them.
When your child (1st grade and under) is restless,
when you are, when those around you are…
you’re/we’re probably asking too much of everyone.
Please let your child be in the nursery at times like this.
Please return borrowed “goodies” to the cart after
worship.
Infant through 1st Grade Care
is available all during worship down the stairs to the
right to the “nursery.”
In the order of worship, please note… the * indicates
times to stand as you are able.
Today in Worship
We open our hearts and minds to the texts, confronting the radical nature of God’s wisdom.

“I Am…..On The Way!”
Welcome to our Easter Celebration! This morning we are on our “Way” to a new life in faith, love, and compassion! In today’s wisdom teachings, we hear of the women who went to the cave wondering if the stone would be rolled away so they could enter. They found it rolled away, they entered to find Jesus risen and new life made possible! We, too, can enter new life! All we have to do to jounery on? Roll Away The Stone!
We also celebrate Holy Communion this day! The Table is for all people…
children and adults… wherever you may be in your faith’s journey!
~~~
Thanks for being here today!
In deepest gratitude, we give God thanks
for your presence with us in worship!
~~~
WARNING…. If you take the Bible literally you may be disappointed here. We hope not, but we think you should know that
we don’t take all of scripture literally…. any more than Jesus did,
~I am more optimistic about the way things are going. ~I don’t need to worry as I’m now freed to wonder. ~I know I have what it takes to be a compassionate, loving human being and it has nothing to do with my education, income, ethnicity, job, or family. ~I can change the way things are using the power I have, the power of new ideas and choices.
.
Then, my mind is eased and opened as I live Your invitation to the fullness of life. Lord, You hear my prayer….
You may wish to name with God how your expectations are changing….a new wisdom or grace you are receiving; or you may ask God to help you "roll away the stone", opening you to new life and be on the “way”; or you may simply invite Jesus to come sit beside you in the pew this morning shining His healing light all around and through you.
A Moment With God For Each Of Us….
Let there be some quiet. We will be “stilled” together
for 5 minutes or so! You have time….go deeper….
MaryBeth will play the
tune once through, then
we will start softly and
build to our full voices.

Sacred Bond Relationships
Parlor Class Sundays May 3, 10, 17
We are all involved in multiple Sacred Bond relationships in our lives. In this three-week exploration we will look at the following topics: What is a Sacred Bond? What are the Levels of Sacred Bonds Available to Us? How Can We Access Healing through Sacred Bonds? Meditation and Compassion through the Law of Three. What is the Difference between Feeling Better and Genuine Healing? Understanding Relationships Roles in Transformation. Opening the Gifts of Silence, Emptiness, and Space through Meditative Prayer. This learning group will allow each participant to examine these relationships and the meaning that they have carried. We will share about how Sacred Bonds can be expanded and enhanced. We will also look at some practices to deepen personal experiences and allow healing at new levels.
Our Guide: Richard Hanhardt MS, MBA,BCSLC Website: www.sacredbond.net
As we worship this day, we hear the Word spoken and widsdom shared! We are prompted to think in new ways about God and about ourselves. This newness, this response to God's nudging, is God's invitation to begin to live in new Easter ways....the stone has been rolled away!
In our common voice, let us lift our individual life stories together, praying:
