4.3 Transmitter and Receiver:Electro Dynamic Transducers shallbe used to perform functions oftransmitter and receiver.

The Manufacturer of transmitter &receiver shall have valid ISO 9000certificate for manufacturing ofthese items.

Both transmitters and receiver shallbe preferably procured from CACT ILCSOI COOTI SISI (Smallindustries service institution)approved sources (if available).

Electro Dynamic Transducer of150±20% ohm impedance shallbe used to perform functions oftransmitter and receiver.

The Manufacturer of transmitter &receiver shall have valid ISO 9000certificate for manufacturing ofthese items.

Both transmitters and receivershall be preferably procured fromCACT I LCSOI COaTI SISI(Small industries serviceinstitution) approved sources (ifavailable).

The transducers shall be fixed inthe transmitter and receiverlocations of the handset. Properlocking arrangements shall beensured. The transducers shall beproperly protected against ingressof moisture, dust and insects. Thefrequency response over therange 300 to 3400 Hz shall beuniform. Howling shall not existwhen two TelephonesInstruments are connected inparallel in OFF-HOOK positionsand when one of the handset isplaced with the TransmitterlReceiver In flush with a flatsurface. It includes glass surfacealso.

2. 6.3.1 The Telephone will be subjected tofollowing transmission tests. Thetest setup shall be as indicated infig 1 to 4 (Annexure - I)

6.3.1(ii)

The test set up shall be as indicatedin Fig-2. The level measured at R1and R2 across 200 ohm resistanceshall not be more than -18dBm withthe oscillator level maintained at -44dBm.

The test set up shall be asindicated in Fig-2. The levelmeasured at R1 and R2 across Rohm resistance shall not be morethan -18dBm with the oscillatorlevel maintained at -44dBm.(where R = 150 ohm ±.20%)
