I am the light of the world

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows

me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8: 12

After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews were

seeking to kill him. Now the Jews' Feast of Tabernacles was at hand. So his brothers said to

him, “Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples also may see the works you are doing”.

“On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord

for seven days…

Leviticus 23: 39
