Hello!
I am Ariel. Thank you for downloading this eBook.
I came to working online later in life, or as a friend says, I am from the
time before computers. It has indeed been quite a learning curve.
And, it has been one exciting ride to create a home business and watch
it grow.
Why did I write this? So that it will help you scale up your home
business with even more success.
And, not have to go through the embarrassing results I experienced;
she says as her face turns red just thinking about it!
In this age of social media, it is helpful to get across what your business
does, but more importantly?
The value you are bringing to the marketplace.
What problems is your business solving?
As Ray Higdon says:
Positive Attention + Positive Connection = Positive Results.
Because we all know it is not the platform that we choose to use, but
rather the value and connection we bring that is vital to your success.
So knowing that, here is what you will find in this book:
How to Get More Views on Facebook
How to Find Targeted People for Your Niche
How Often Should I Post on Social Media
How Not To Be Spammy Pammy
How To Write Great Headlines/ Titles
Waiting for Perfection
Problem Solving is Your Goldmine
So let’s dive in!
HOW TO GET MORE VIEWS ON FACEBOOK
We all want to know how to get more friends and views on Facebook. It
is the cornerstone of getting more people to see our service or
opportunity.
So what is the magic to make that happen?
Simply said? It is consistency, persistence and patience.
My mentor has drilled that in my head. I even see those words in my
sleep!
It is so vital to your business success.
Being consistent is the only way people will get to know, like and trust
you.
So what does that look like and mean?
Every day consistently, you add 15-25 new friends
Every day consistently you comment on 15-25 posts from other people
on their profile pages.
Every day consistently you post 1-3 times per day.
Every day consistently you respond to everyone who commented on
your posts.
It is called social media for a reason! To be social!
Interact and build relationships.
NEXT…
HOW TO FIND TARGETED CUSTOMERS
FOR YOUR NICHE
Do these steps to find targeted customers
for your niche:
1. Know that not everyone will be a customer. So, narrowing your
approach to a specific demographic gives you a higher ratio of
response.
2. Identify the needs of your perfect customer.
3. Go to the groups where your customer would be, ie, if your product
is weight loss, find weight loss groups on Facebook.
4. Listen to what potential customers are saying and asking questions in
those groups.
5. Start commenting on those posts so that you can be known, liked
and trusted.
6. Solve the problem that your targeted customer has by contacting
them on Messenger.
And now…
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I POST
ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
This is such a great question.
So many of us really want to know what the rule of thumb is on this. I
know for me; I had no idea that OVER posting could be a detriment.
Please note that each platform has different requirements for the most
positive visibility and outcome.
Here are some guidelines:
For Facebook it is recommended that you do not post more than 3 to 5
times per day.
For Instagram, you can post 10 times per day on your story. For just the
timeline no more than 1-3 times per day.
Again, more about your personal life than business. And mix up mostly
with video since Instagram is video based.
For Twitter it is recommended that you post maximum of 5 times per
day.
For Pinterest, the minimum is 5 times per day, the max is 10 times daily
For Linkedin, it is recommended no more than 5-7 per week, otherwise
Linkedin will actually start hiding your feed.
For TikTok, it is ok to post up to 3 times per day
Here is a bonus! This is a REALLY important rule of thumb for whatever
platform you use!
BONUS!
For every ONE business post, you put up 2 posts that
are either informational, motivational or are about your
life.
Let’s move on…
HOW NOT TO BE SPAMMY PAMMY
Isn’t it so off putting when you go to a page and all there is on the page
are links and ads? Or when someone keeps sending you links?
So we know that we don’t like that.
And if we don’t like it, others don’t either.
So let’s first define SPAM.
Nope, we are not talking about that meat in the can!
Here is Facebook’s definition of spam:
“Spam involves contacting people with unwanted content or
requests. This includes sending bulk messages, excessively
posting links or images to people's timelines and sending friend
requests to people you don't know personally. Spam
is sometimes spread through clicking on bad links or installing
malicious software.”
So when we say don’t be a “Spammy Pammy”, it means that we
don’t leave our business links in places that are unwarranted or
not requested.
For instance, on Facebook if you put your links in someone else’s
profile without being invited to do that, you are spamming. And
they have the right to then block you.
Also, if you have many links on your Facebook profile, Facebook
will cut down on the amount of people who can view your profile.
So, your business can be significantly harmed by using your links
improperly.
The rule of thumb is that when the link is requested,
then it is not spam.
And as my mentor taught us, when we use curiosity posts that is
much more impactful then sharing an unwanted link.

WANT ATTENTION AND VISIBILTY?
USE THESE ATTENTION GETTING TIPS FOR
TITLES & HEADLINES
According to Neil Patel, who is famous for his grasp of SEO, (Search
Engine Optimization) and blogging, says that 8 out of 10 people will
read the headlines, but out of that 8 only 2 will read the post!
WOW that is huge right? So what do we need to do?
Have you noticed why sensationalism has taken hold?
Because the titles immediately catch our attention and curiosity.
When you know it catches your attention that is one that will work for
others too.
Catchy titles are considered a vital piece to getting attention.
After all, a title/ headline will determine if we even choose to read the
post, right?
So what are the hallmarks of great titles to get attention?
Did you know that copywriters will spend 50% of their time on the title?
As John Caples wrote:“If the headline is poor, the copy will not be read. And copy that is not read does not sell goods.”
Many experts like Ray Higdon and Eric Worre, suggest that we take our
cues from magazines.
Why? Because did you notice that those headlines are what sells the
magazine?
If you are concerned about weight loss and the headline is how to lose
5 pounds in 5 days, are you going to want to read the article?
Oh, for sure yes!
Here are some things to keep in mind to craft a get attention
headline/title:
1. Do you know who your target audience is? If so then you know
what they want and what they are looking for. So you tailor the
headline to where their pain points are. That creates curiosity
enough to read the post.
2. Then knowing your audience, and what they want, use that in
your headline as a benefit. If your audience is young mothers,
they might need to know how to lose their recent baby fat gain.
So the title could be “5 Tips to Lose Your Baby fat Gain.”
3. So always first, Identify the problem in your title .
4. Then make sure the sub heading talks about the solution
5. And always test your headlines! Because you want to figure out
what will convert into sales. And remember what worked last year
might not work this year, because it is no longer relevant.
Let’s move on.. .
WAITING FOR PERFECTION
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I used to get so obsessed with
perfection that it just stopped me in my tracks.
Do you know that feeling?
So here is the secret. Listen to this. It is the key...ready?
Perfection is never going to happen.
Yes gasp! It will not happen.
And if you are waiting for perfection, know what that means?
You will never TAKE ACTION!
Never taking action means you don’t really want to have a successful
business.
Why? Because successful people just DO, not think.
The best part of imperfection?
We all know how that feels. It makes us much more human. And we
learn from it and become more vulnerable and ready to take that
action step.
We know of so many famous people who did not wait for perfection
and indeed say their success was dependent on their imperfection and
failures.
Like Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx. She failed miserably even with
her Law school board exams. Now she runs a billion-dollar company.
Harrison Ford did not become famous until he was in his 40’s.
Steve Jobs was fired from his own company! And we all know the
Cinderella story of then how Jobs led Apple to completely disrupt the
tech industry.
But what if he stayed in the mode of this must be perfect? They kept
failing up and creating and creating, until they found their magic key.
And this one is flabbergasting, ready?
Walt Disney was fired from his job at a newspaper because, get this,
the editor thought he lacked imagination!
JK Rowling, the incredibly prolific writer of the Harry Potter books, was
divorced on welfare and had a child to support.
She did not wait for perfection; she had no choice but to just jump in.
And still publishers turned down her manuscript! Can you imagine if
she waited for perfection, Harry Potter would not have tweaked so
many imaginations?
Embrace imperfection and failure, why?
That is how you become successful.
And no one is an expert when they get started right? Just like a toddler
we take that one step fall down and then get up again. Until we are
sturdy enough to walk.
If we don’t try despite the imperfection, we will never know the
success.
So I would like to urge you to put down the wall of perfection and
embrace the fact the first time you do something it might be quite
awful.
But the second time, it gets better, until finally step by step, it is good.
Do it, you are worth it!
After all progress is better than perfection!
And now this…
PROBLEM SOLVING IS YOUR GOLDMINE
What does THAT mean?
Problem solving is your goldmine because once you solve a problem,
you have a customer.
Why? Because that person felt heard and validated.
As Zig Ziglar said:
People are looking for solutions and help. And you are the person
they are looking for.
So, the more people you help the more it helps your business grow.
And you gain a reputation for your service and caring.
So how do we do this?
1. Ask Questions
2. Listen to Answers
3. Present Solution
4. Present the Benefits
5. Call to Action (CTA)
Let’s go through each step.
1. Ask questions! This is so important, because how can we possibly
know what someone wants, if we don’t ask? For instance, one
question could be do you know anyone who is having back pain?
2. Listen to the Answers, oh yes the person says. I have been having
back pain for years, and i have tried so many things but nothing
works.
3. Present the Solution, oh my that must be so painful and
distracting to your daily life. I just used this product that you rub
on and I was so pleased the pain stopped so fast.
4. Present the benefits, so for me it was huge to not be so cranky
with being in pain all the time, my family is happier to be around
me and I get to be part of activities again . I sure did miss
participating. NOTE: everyone wants to know what is in it for
them, what are the benefits to them, not the ingredients of the
product! It is an emotional process when we buy. We feel
something and know it is going to change our lives in some way.
5. Call to Action (CTA) Let me help you order this product so that
you can also be out of pain and enjoy your life. Just click on this
