Project length is 13.856 miles along I-95, North of State Road (SR) 44 to North of US 92 (International Speedway Boulevard). Construction is scheduled to begin in the Spring 2015. The anticipated completion date is Summer 2018. The total contract amount is $205,000,000. 18 bridges along the length of the project will either be widened or replaced. Ghyabi & Associates currently serves as the main public involvement contact, coordinator, and facilitator for FDOT’s I-95 Widening and Systems Interchange Reconstruction Design-Build project, which involves widening I-95 from four-lanes to six-lanes from north of State Road 44 to north of US 92. The project scope also includes the reconstruction of the systems interchange with I-4, I-95 and US 92. An Aesthetics Master Plan for the gateway to Daytona Beach is also being developed for this project and Ghyabi & Associates is responsible for coordinating all stakeholder meetings and organizing the final design.
