The QTS self-cultivation programme is a unique, secular, self-care health system that engages the ‘whole’: body, mind,emotional self and spirit. It was created by carefully reviewingmany of the most popular, prevalent and beneficial forms ofQigong and is backed by years of successfully teaching andintegrating pioneering Western health concepts.

moved draws upon the Tao, the Way of Nature, and cultivates adeeper understanding of your body's inherent and intrinsicwisdom and capacities in an experiential exploration in nature,science and anatomy. Unique and innovative, moved integrates ancient Eastern practiceswith modern Western methods. Drawn from three discerningdisciplines:

1.Taoist Water Method, the first and purest original branch ofQigong, which began to create and establish Qigong as a completeself-care health system. This became the foundation for TraditionalChinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture, self-healing energy work,Taiji and associated therapies such as Shiatsu, Tuina, Anmo and EFT(Emotional Freedom Technique).

2. Zen principles on mindfulness, living in the present andsimplifying life. Applying these principles, we can learn to livehappily in the present moment instead of getting lost in the past orworrying about the future. Dwelling in the present moment is theonly way to truly develop peace, both in oneself and in the world,and is a practice that provides us with the opportunity to transformour perspective on life.

3. Mind Body Literacy - Intelligent Body, Agile Mind. Our fascialwhole-body connections can be understood through the medium ofour Qigong movement, allowing us to move with intelligence andintention wherever we are, whatever we are doing. Understandingthe effect our posture and the way we move has on our minds,reduces pain and tension, soothes anxiety and deepens ourconnection with our practice.

The combined practice of these three disciplines provides aremarkable understanding and connection to mind, body, emotionsand spirit. All experienced through The Qigong Training School andbeing moved.

Qigong is the original all-in-one health care system that is shroudedin over 5000 years of tradition and offers countless health benefits.Until now, Qigong has been somewhat inaccessible, many peoplehaven’t heard of it, and therefore haven’t experienced it’swonderful Way.

We aim to demystify and illuminate Qigong, and make it accessibleand obtainable to everyone to improve the quality of life for peopleof all ages, from all backgrounds. moved includes techniques andexercises that improve mobility, breathing and relaxation. Themovements are totally adaptable, which makes it fun, easy andcomfortable to learn. It is suitable for those wishing for a ‘self-care’practice; including those who may want to address the effects ofspecific conditions. As an integrated practice, moved develops acompassionate, healthy lifestyle, and provides both traditional andnon-traditional results such as: increased awareness and sensitivity,organ conditioning, energy rejuvenation, joint, muscle and spinalflexibility, and clarity of mind.

Students will develop their abilities to focus the mind, calm theemotions, and concentrate in a deep state of ‘Active Relaxation’through breathing practices, movement, meditation and self-massage, providing simple, effective self-care skills that can beused throughout life.

What Is It To Be moved?

The most important thing is not the form or the movement, butthe state of being, the Qi state, in which you do the movement.The Qi state is accessed through purposeful attention toposture, movement, breath and focused awareness. So, werelax and enjoy doing these movements however they comeout - we don’t look for perfection! Bring your attention to theactuality of the present moment. Self-CultivationThis programme focuses on the Qigong Training School self-cultivation practices, along with relevant theory and history, todeepen students' understanding of how to use moved as a tool forthe physical body, the mind, the emotional / energetic body and thespiritual body.

Perfect for those looking to integrate balance, harmony and vitalitythrough Qigong into their daily lives.

The main form of Qigong that will be passed on to you will be thebeautiful Hun Yuan Qigong. Deniz is an Indoor Student of this formas taught by Master Ma Bao Guo.

Authentic Lineage

Hun Yuan Qigong was developed by Grandmaster FengZhi Qiang. Grandmaster Feng, already an accomplishedeternal gongfu fighter, studied Xinyiquan with Han XiaoFeng and Chen style Taijiquan with Chen Fa Ke. He wenton to create his own style known as Chen style Xinyi HuanYuan Taijiquan and is recognized today as one of the mostskilful and innovative living masters in China. Hun YuanQigong is an integral part of this system and is taught as ahealth practice.

At QTS we strive to create a learning environment which isstimulating, challenging and spiritually nourishing. Master Mao Bao Guo studied the Hun Yuan system with Feng ZhiQiang’s disciple Master Wang Chaihai and has since developedthe Qigong set in a unique way incorporating his own insights. Inparticular Master Ma’s Qigong has a strong flavour of Wudang andEmei styles in which he is also a lineage holder.

It is beneficial for our students to develop a daily journaled Qigongpractice. One of the foundations of the Qigong Training School isregular Qigong practice. Through experiential Qigong and developmentof a positive approach to life, you can learn to solve personal challengesand find inner contentment. This requires commitment and discipline,some of the foundations for Qigong study and practice.

You will have a set of unparalleled life skills. As graduates of movedyour innate understanding of your bodies will be second to none. Toadd to this you will have an integrated understanding of anatomy, whichwill help you to understand what your body already knows. Yourintelligent, well-educated, Qigong body together with your enlightened,agile mind will allow a deeper understanding of all aspects of Qigong.
