About program HYPET 700, H700w.To create a complete heeling test report form input data from an inclination test.
Main screen looks like this:
This report is based on the template from the Norwegian Maritime Directorate in Norway.First and mainly, the report is intended to communicate directly with a HYPET hull database that is builtup in H100w, but can also be run separately. If a HYPET hull database exists, the program willautomatically get current main data from this database and also calculate the hydrostatic data for thecurrent waterline. You can start with data entry by selecting from the menu at the top from left:"DRAFT", "MAIN", "WEIGHT", "Pendulum", "TEST DATA" and "LIGHT SHIP".
Below you will find screenshots from the program and the full report.
When input DRAFT-READING, please have this in mind:1. Use the same longitudinal location or frame reference for both SB and PS.
2. Following input for DRAFT is very helpful: M , H M = Height from BASE LINE up to measuring point and Normal to BASE LINE. H = Height from WATER LINE up to measuring point and Normal to WATER LINE. Example: 6.856+0.007+1.040 , 3.880 which mean: About M: 6.856m (BL to deck) +0.007m (deck thick.) +1.040m (from deck to measuring point) Using method "M,H" program will automatically handled any trim!
BUT you are allowed to input DRAFT directly, but then you must take care of trim yourself. Have in mind that all draft calculation in HYPET is measured normal to BASE LINE. Please read help text inside different tabs.
THEN: Pless button (Calculate LightShip) and LIGHT SHIP will be calculated. At bottom line you will find DRAFT calculation for light ship depending on selected "Water spec. gravity(t/m3)"
