Our patented valve technology is designed to flow through the center and vent around the sides incorporating a diaphragm that absorbs impact to minimize leakage when dropped or shaken. One of the distinct benefits of our system is that our valve has a variable output unlike our competitors whose flow is either on or off. Our technology allows for a more controlled flow; when the bottle is squeezed gently the flow is low and increases with the intensity of the squeeze.

How it works?Our silicone valve technology allows the liquid to flow through the centre and vent around the sides incorporating a diaphragm that absorbs impact to prevent leakage when dropped or shaken. One of the distinct benefits of our system is that our valve has a variable output unlike our competitors whose flow is either “on or off”. Our technology will allow for a more controlled flow that adjusts to the intensity of the squeeze and shuts off automatically when not squeezed.

What’s that locking feature?Our “new” patented “positive shut off” <or> “positive locking” feature means our caps won’t spill or leak even during the most vigorous activities. Even in the “open” + position our caps do not to leak or spill and the cap becomes completely leak & spill proof in the “closed“ position eliminating the need to constantly adjust the cap.

The “positive shut off” +/- locking feature is primarily used when storing your bottle. This feature will prevent leaks& spills when the bottle is not in useor tossed in a bag.

Is it Dishwasher safe?Yes, all of our products are. For optimal results we recommend you use the top rack of your dishwasher to ensure proper cleaning. Please remember to remove the cap from the bottle for thorough cleaning.

You may also wash by hand using normal soap and rinsing well.

What kind of drinks can I put inside my bottle?You can use most type of drinks, namely sports drinks, warm liquids (provided that they are not extra-hot or at boiling temperature to avoid accidental burns), carbonated beverages (beware of the “fizz” if the lock feature has been used).

What I should not do with the bottle?Freeze or use it in the microwave.

Can I customize my bottles?This is a big YES!!! If your order is over 500 bottles please send us your artwork and we will do the rest.

What is our commitment to the environment and sustainability and safety?Our enhanced plastic bottles biodegrade in landfills and are the most environmentally responsible bottles on the market.

HydroshotTM Bottles are made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic with Ecovio®, which is 100 percent biodegradable. Ecovio ® is made of Ecoflex® – together with renewable raw materials. Ecoflex® is the name for biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic co-polyesters supplied by BASF. In addition to Ecoflex®, it contains PLA (polylactic acid). PLA is made of corn, a renewable raw material. Biodegradable polymers are used for flexible film applications like shopping bags, compost bags or mulch films.

How well does plastic hold temperatures compared to other materials?

It can be very confusing with all the different products available on the market and the various claims as to which one is the best insulator. A general misconception is how well plastic holds temperature and its imitations. Most flexible sports bottles are made out of Polyethylene (PE) and can sustain temperatures up to boiling and freezing points. However, it is not recommended to freeze plastic bottles because the plastic becomes rigid and can crack more easily. Thermal conductivity is the way any material maintains and holds temperatures and is measured by "high" or "low". PE plastics have a "low" thermal conductivity which means they do not lose heat or cold quickly. Interesting enough, aluminum thermal conductivity is "high" and will loose and gain heat quickly which means that it attracts heat fast yet at the same time loses heat faster than plastic.
