Two things happen in theroom manifold when theroom control switch is pushed to EXTEND.

One: The needle valve of the EXTEND solenoid valve opens

Two: The power unitruns and pressure opens the check valve.

Hydraulic fluid is free to travel the path of leastresistance through the EXTEND solenoid valve.

As the room cylinders extend fluid is forced into the synchronizing cylinder causing it to retract.

released.
