***brain stem- involuntary actions (breathing/heart rate)

The Central Nervous System is made of the brain and the spinal cord.

The Central Nervous System controls everything in the body.

The Peripheral Nervous System is made of the nerves and the sense organs.

* The peripheral nervous system is made of the nerves and the sense organs.

* The peripheral nervous system also controls the body’s activities that you don’t think about.

* Such as: your small intestine, your breathing, and your heartbeat.
