What a wonderful afternoon I had yesterday playing with baby goats

at Westmoor Park in West Hartford. If only all my days could be spent

in the company of innocence and gay abandon.

Today, I celebrate the sheer joy of a young dog's talent for making

everything fun. While watering our "rock" yard, we found the perfect

dog exercising program. I laugh every day at this glorious pup's ability

to just have FUN!

Walking on the road in Madrid, New Mexico, I came upon this gathering

of mailboxes showing off their colors. With the exception of a few "newbies"

they were decked out quite nicely! I had to laugh as they all lined up and

posed patiently for me. We had a fun time together!

Celebrating thievery.

A short time ago, I came across a horse and her baby. Minutes later, I was

shocked to witness this crime! This thieving horse was teaching her young to

steal the neighbor's corn! I never knew their necks could stretch like that.

Oh well, horses have to eat too!

"NO PARKING ANY TIME"

I have a "thing" for quirky, contradictions as well as old signs.

If you look carefully, you'll see that the original message on this

sign was "No Parking Any Time". But someone "re-purposed" the

sign creating a new message proclaiming "Speed Limit 0 MPH".

Now in my mind, a "0 MPH" speed limit is a lot like parking.

And, of course, once you're there, it's impossible to leave!

About Celebrate What’s Right with the World!

Over 300,000 people have visited the Celebrate website, since it went

live in 2012. More than 10,000 people have ‘liked’ us on Facebook and

more than 20,000 photographic celebrations have been posted!

Amazing! We have shared thousands of uplifting visual stories of joy

and beauty, happiness and love.

For all of us who have been involved in the project, we see how much

it has changed us. Not so much in an intellectual way, but rather in a

deep and abiding emotional way. By seeing life as a celebration, by

focusing on all we have to be thankful for, we find ourselves filling

with gratitude. First, perhaps, for the big things in life. Now, more

and more, for everything.— every cloud, every tree, every person, every

opportunity, every breath. Living life to the fullest is so much easier

through the lens of celebration. Imagine what life would be like if

everyone saw life that way.
