Registration of students for admission to UG courses in the following six Government colleges of Sikkim for the

academic year 2016-17 will be through online only. Students are directed to visit: www.sgcregistration.com

Online registrations are invited for admission into following Government colleges for academic year 2016-17.

1. Sikkim Government College – Tadong.

Note: Ensure that the following listed documents are ready with the applicant before filling the registration form:

COI/SSC/Voter ID/Adhaar/Ration Card/BPL Card /Minority Number/Parents ID Number (This is applicable when

wards of central government employees, Army personnel, CPMF transferred and working in Sikkim in

the time of the admission of their ward)/Residential Certificate Holder/ Foreign National Certificate, Class XII

Mark Sheet, Differently Abled Certificate, scanned passport sized image (Size: 4 kb to 40 kb)

1. Please read the Information carefully before filling the Online Application Form for admission.

2. Candidates should register for admission through website www.sgcregistration.com only.

3. Candidate can apply for more than one colleges but he/she will get admission in one college and one course

only.

4. Prospectus Fees: Prospectus fees will be calculated basis on the number of colleges the applicant applied for.

1. Getting Started

1.1. Start a web browser (Internet explorer, Google chrome, Firebox Mozilla etc.) available on your

computer.

1.2. On the address bar type https://www.sgcregistration.com and then press “Enter” key of the

keyboard.

1.3. Then the following page of Student Online Registration website will open.

Step 1: Application Submission process

If the applicant is new then he/ she should click on “Register” button or “Register” link which is shown in Fig 1.

Now the following Registration Form page will be displayed.

Fill up the Registration Form and submit it. The candidate should provide required personal details while filling the

Online Registration Form and also set PASSWORD. After successful submission of the personal details, Application

No. will be generated and will be sent to the registered mobile number & e-mail. This same Application No. will be

used to complete the remaining steps of the application submission process and for all future

correspondence/subsequent logins.

Note: No modification/changes can be done once the form successfully submitted. The fields which marked * are

compulsory fields.

Once you have successfully submitted your Registration Form the following page will be displayed.

Please click on “Click Here to Login and proceed to your registration process” link or “Login” link for

further process. The following Login page will be displayed.

Now provide Application No and Password for login process and click on “Log in” button.

Once you have login successfully then the following Student Registration Form Page will be displayed.

Step 2: Basic Information

Now fill the Basic Information form and click on “Save” button.

Note: The fields which marked * are compulsory fields.

Once you have successfully saved Basic Information form, the following Examination form will be displayed.

Step 3: Examination Details

Fill the marks obtained in class XII. Give details of marks of at least top 5 scored subjects. Subjects details should

not exceed more than 6(six) subjects.

Upload Photograph: Upload the scanned image of recent passport size photograph in jpg/jpeg format only. Size of

the image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 40 kb.

Once you have successfully saved Examination details then click on Next button.

Now the following College Preference form will be displayed.

Step 4: College Preferences

Now select the colleges and courses according to your priority for which you seek admission. However, this does

not guarantee of your admission to that particular colleges and courses opted for.

After saving the College Preference click on Next button. The following Confirm Details form will be displayed.

Step 5: Confirmation

Now verify and confirm the details provided before final submission.

Note: The Candidate will not be allowed to modify/change the particulars after confirmation.

After confirmed the details the following Payment Details page will be displayed.

Step 6: Pay Prospectus Fee through e-Challan/net banking/debit/credit card via SBI payment gateway

Before payment of fee of prospectus, take a print (optional) of the payment information sheet which includes

(Application Name, Application ID, Date of Birth, Mobile No, No of Colleges applied for, Total registration fee) for

further reference.

This information sheet will be required at the time of payment of fee of prospectus through e-Challan/net banking

/debit/credit card via SBI payment gateway.

Click on payment link. This will redirect to State Bank of India’s “State Bank Collect” interface.

Fill up the payment details in the form and select mode of payment.

a) If the applicant opts for (net banking/debit card/credit card) payment: make the payment and print the

payment slip. Keep the payment slip safely for future reference.

b) If the applicant opts for e-challan and has the provision to print the challan: after selecting the payment

mode, a challan will be generated with a reference number, fee detail and same sms will be sent to registered

mobile no. Download the challan, print it and take it to any SBI branch and make the payment, applicant has

to keep their copy intact. Payment slip will be required in future.

c) If the applicant opts for e-challan and has no provision to print the challan: after selecting the payment mode,

a challan will be generated with a reference number, fee detail and same sms will be sent to registered mobile

no. Download the challan. Applicant has to go any SBI branch and collect a blank challan and has to fill in

relevant detail similar to downloaded challan and make the payment; applicant has to keep their copy intact.

Payment slip will be required in future.

Note: for any type of payment, bank will deduct the transaction amount.
