4. Difficulties Experienced on his Expeditions
Encountered storms and wind
On Henry Hudson's last voyage, when his crew demanded to go home, Hudson wanted to continue the voyage
Ship stranded in ice
Hudsons crew was led to mutinyand put Hudson, his son, and other supporters in a small boat, left to die.
On Henrys third voyage, King James I of England forbade Hudson to sail for England

Sailed northwest of Greenland
Hit Spitsbergen (an island in Norway) and sailed west
Due to bad weather, changed course and sailed back to England.

Due to bad weather and conditions on the ship, he had to change course and head back to Gravesend, England
