弗洛伊德首次在理论上发现了人类的潜意识，是精神领域的首个权威。他的理论有许多是以男人为主体的视角，包括认为女性一直渴望拥有男性生殖器官。在我看来，
弗洛伊德哺育了人类的思想，是个精神母亲；他的骨灰被按照他的遗嘱放置在一个隐喻对象为子宫的希腊古董瓮里，我觉得也许他渴望拥有或者可以拥有一对乳房。
我还把乳房状的红灯放在肖像前，像在拜祭被开了玩笑的人类精神发现之父：弗洛伊德。
Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, is the authority of human beings’ mind. Many of his opinion were quite male oriented, one of the most famous one was that he
supposed female want to own male genital organs. To me, Freud somehow had fed human’s mind, in that sense, he could be a mother. His ash was put in an ancient Greek urn, a
metaphor for mother’s body, according to his will. I guess that he was eager to have or should have a pair of breasts. It could be fun.
I also put a pair of breast-like red lamps in front of Freud’s portrait, like anyone can pray to this father of psychoanalysis.

2016 年里约奥运会在颁奖升旗仪式上悬挂了一枚错误的中国国旗。从认识这个失误入手，我发现现代中国的国旗其实是一张星图，并且该星图在分布、五角星数字上与
中国的君权神授、北极星-帝王意识，周易五行思想有很大关联，这和中国很长的古代历史有关。对我来讲这是很大的发现，因为一直以来我都对占星与术术感兴趣。我
把这个发现做成了录像，并在现场贴了一张在淘宝网上买的“错误国旗”。
In Rio 2016 Olympic Games, a wrong Chinese flag was raised by Rio officials at a medal ceremony. This was the first time many of the Chinese people knew
about a certain detail design of the Chinese national flag, so did I. Then I had a discovery, our national flag in the modern times is actually a star chart. What is
more, the way how the stars are placed on the flag is related to the role of Polaris played in feudal times in Chinese history, which had represented the
emperor for very long time. Then, the number of the stars, five, is a very important number in Zhou Yi theory. I have been interested in astrology and
divination for a long time. I made this great discovery into video and put up a flawed national flag sticker near it which I bought from internet.

分享两件我听说的，1949年之后发生的，与革命时代和文革时期有关的灵异事件，分别来自网友和我亲戚，一个公务员冰姨的讲述。
I would like to share with others two occult stories, they happened during the times of war and cultural revolution in China. One story came from my net
friend. The other was told by my relative, Aunt Icy, she works as a public servant.
冰姨（公务员）
1976 年之后我在单位上班，当时人人都在议论之前 10 年期间发生的种种，一个同事告诉我，他认识一个人参与批斗，在公开批斗前把“批斗对象”的双手用墨汁涂成成
黑色，谓之“幕后黑手”。当时很多领导层的人都被称为“黑手”，就这样被整了。谁知后来这人生了个小孩，小孩天生从指尖到上臂的皮肤都是黑色的，像戴了手套，
这小孩从来就不穿短袖衣服。
By Aunt Icy (a government worker)
After 1976 I went back to work. At that time, everyone was talking about what happened in the past 10 years of the Cultural Revolution. One of my colleagues told me that he knew
someone who participated in a pidou hui (public persecution). This man painted the hands of the "persecution targets" into black with ink, and accused them as the"black hands
behind the stage", a Chinese idiom referring to evil backstage manipulator in dark.He accused many government officials as “black hands”, and then prosecuted them. A few years
later, the man had a baby, whose skins on hands and arms are black, much darker than the rest of his body, looks like wearing a pair of black gloves. The kid never wears short
sleeves clothes.

有这样一则鸡汤：雪地上有滩狗尿。有人说：真煞风景！画家说：在你看来是狗尿，在我看来却是动人无比的琥珀色。这段文字对我产生了影响，它无疑是种“艺术的”
态度；反过来看，有的被人看作像琥珀那样动人的事物，可能只是狗尿。它反映了个体之间差异的经验和叙事，也反应了个人经验、叙事在集体经验、集体叙事中的突
兀。以我为例，我的名字（黄河）所包含的更多是集体经验的产物、某种爱国情怀的背景音„„是不是？
A chicken soup story: Once, there was dog urine in the snow. Someone said: It is such a spoiler! However, a painter said: Dog urine in your eyes, but I see
charming amber. This story did somehow influence me, it is about a “artistic” attitude with no doubt; but consider it in another way, some amber might just
dog urine as well. It reflects the diversities of individuals’ experience and narrations, also the abruptness occurs when individuals’ experience/ narrations
confront those from collective. For example, my name (Huang He/Yellow River) could be a metaphorical product of collective experience, with the background
sound of patriotism…isn’t it?

这件作品包含了：我的名字，爱国主义的“黄河”景观图像，酒杯的意象（可看做古人般的曲水流觞：如果我们是巨人、巨灵，会放置杯子在这可怕的河水上饮酒）。如
是，这样的杯子也可能成为方位上停留符号，在水流中造成些许阻碍与延迟。与之相对的是，曲水流觞中杯所不能控制的自身命运，是否犹如所谓历史长河中人的行为。
这种现实不再在叙事层面制造伟大。若在传说神话里黄河是由神所创造，在个人的叙述里，黄河有否可能是一道巨大的狗尿？
In this piece, I combined my name, goblets, the classicale images of the Yellow River and my understanding of all of these. First, the Yellow River could be the
dog urine in the very old days, comparing to those ledgens talking about immortals. Then, if we are giants, we can place some goblets at the river, it would be
fun to drink the wine inside; we can even let the goblets with wine flow with the waves of the river, like the acient Chinese did. Individual mythology, filth VS
historical ledgend, patriotic symbols, common understandings,this work is a visual psychoanalytic autobiography. Although one can not control his or her fate
in the long histroy, at least he or she can rewrite the...."story".

2010年在广东龙门水库工地，身为素人科学家的陆女士/我妈妈得到了一位做工村民据说在鹅卵石滩上发现的这块“天然的人头石“，其中这人头石的左眼是村民声称自
己为了对称而去凿的。排骨石是 2013年陆女士在从化水库下游发现的，在搬这块石头时，村民还告诉她，他们平时有崇拜一些长相奇特的石头的习俗。我个人认为第一
块石头是人造的，第二块石头是天然的。然而，人造的石头却有着微妙的人的神情，天然的那块排骨石则更似”刑天舞干戚，猛志固常在“，以乳为目，以脐为口的”
刑天“。
在替我妈妈以照片形式给石头做记录的过程中，她一遍遍地引导我去观察石头表面的纹路。在她难以被科学系统接受的个人理论里，创造生命的自然力量也以同样的方
式创造出了形态像生命的石头。
On the building site of Longmen Reservoir in Guangdong in 2010, Mrs. Lu / my mother, a civilian scientist, got the “crude Head Stone” from a working villager
who said he found the stone at a pebble beach. The left eye on this Head Stone was chiselled by him for symmetry, the villager professed. Ribs Stone was
found by Mrs. Lu at the lower reach of Conghua Reservoir in 2013. While moving the stone, villagers told her, they had the custom of worshipping the peculiar
stones. Personally I think the first stone is artificial, the second one is crude. However, the artificial stone has the subtle expression of human beings, the crude
Ribs Stone is more like “Xingtian wields the shield and ax, the intrepid spirit exists infinitely”, “Xingtian”, the antient god who uses nipple as eyes, navel as
mouth, after his head was cut off.
In the process of photographing the stones for my mother, she guided me to observe the surface of stones over and over. Within her individual theory that
was hard to be accepted by the science system, the natural power that creates lives also creates the zoetic stones.

Except for the art pieces, I presented several stories that collected from different friends and talk to the consumers at the Café, trying to combine non-daily
experience with daily experience and see what would happen.

这是一家在网上订购的香港民居，客厅墙壁贴的是面对维多利亚港的豪宅阳台——的喷画。桌面上放的是 Art Basel HK的免费赠票。这是我在这个民居呆的第 3个早上，
我们在吃早餐。
近看，那画上的建筑、桌子、白色咖啡杯都有 3D渲染的痕迹，估计是张楼盘效果图。上面也有份悬而未决的早餐，或者下午茶。
It was taken in the accommodation in HK. When we were having breakfast we found the wallpaper was about a luxury terrace facing Victoria Harbour in HK. It
seemed there was also a breakfast in the wallpaper. So I put a ticket of Basel Art Fair on the table and photo it. It was like a mirror but had totally different
"reality" in either side.

就像福柯说一切关系都是权力关系，也可以讲一切关系都是带有政治性的，艺术实践我觉得不可能逃脱或跳出权力关系的，包括个人和创作之间，也是自我意识寻找标
记物体或形式与建立自主权力的的方式，也隐含政治的属性吧。白糖成了你的意识的媒介，白糖不再只是白糖，而成了你的烦恼的载体，被赋予了空间、审美、社会关
系的意味，从消费品变成了潜在的生产工具。“汗珠„”关心的似乎是艺术家在日常工作与创作之间的紧张关系，和与此相关的思维困扰，具体表现在身份认同和创作意
识上的障碍和焦虑。

Sugar is more than sugar. It has become a media of consciousness and a carrier of anxieties.
It has been endowed with spatial, aesthetic and social relation implications.
Sugar is now a potential production tool instead of a mere kind of consumer goods.
The project “Beads of sweat…”seems to care about the tension between daily and creative work of artists, and the accompanying thinking dilemma.
In particular, it concerns the barriers and anxieties of artists' self identity and creating consciousness.
