While observing full protocol Kumu Paʻa Lawrence Aki and Na Haumana will share the traditional teachings of Halawa Valley. Teachings of Na Oli (chants), Hula (dance), Moʻolelo (stories) all pertaining to this place of Halawa Valley will be taught at this event. Process of Awa ceremony, Kapu Kai (ocean cleansing), and paying respects to sacred places of Molokai) are some of the experiences to be had. Experiencing the valley, the living Kupuna (elder), the ocean, the mountain, and honoring the ancestors of the place is all part of the experiences planned.
