JUMPER SELECTABLE LP1 SERIES: PRODUCT ORDERING INFORMATION

GREYSTONE ENERGY SYSTEMS INC.

The LP1 Low Pressure Transmitter can be used to measure positive, negative or differential pressure in the ranges of 1”wc to 12”wc (200 TO 2000Pa). The piezoresistive sensor is ideal for monitoring the pressure for air or other clean inert gas and is limited only to those media which will not attack polyetherimide, silicon, fluorosilicone, silicone, EPDM and neo-prene seals.

The LP1 features field selectable pressure ranges and output signal types for the most flexible application. Typical HVAC applications include monitoring of filter differential pressure, or VAV applications. The output signal is factory calibrated and temperature compensated for highest startup accuracy and trouble-free operation. Available options include accu-racy’s, LCD and mounted static pressure probes

Please read the installation instructions carefully before commissioning the pressure transmitter. Failure to follow the in-structions may result in product damage. A qualified technician must install this device.

The LP1 Pressure Transmitter mounts on any surface using the two holes provided on the base of the unit. Make sure there is enough space around the unit to connect the pressure tubing without kinking and avoid locations where severe vibrations or excessive moisture are present. Mount the enclosure with two user-supplied screws but do not over-tighten.

The unit may be mounted in any position but typically is installed on a vertical surface with the pressure ports on the right and the cable entrance on the left. The enclosure has a standard ½” conduit opening and may be installed with either con-duit and a conduit coupler or a cable gland type fitting. Do not use in an explosive or hazardous environment, with combustible or flammable gasses, as safety or emergency stop devices or in any other application where failure of the product could result in personal injury. Use electrostatic discharge precautions during installation and do not exceed the device ratings.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: PGS100A is a compact gauge pressure transducer complete with a 2 wire 4-20mA output, various pres-sure ranges, 1/4” NPT connection and 2 foot cable for electrical termination.

MEDIA COMPATIBILITY: The PGS100 Series transducers are designed to be used with any gases or liquids compatible with 17-4PH stainless steel. The 17-4PH stainless has excel-lent corrosion resistance. Corrosion tests and serv-ice experience have shown that in all aged conditions it is superior to standard hardenable stainless grades such as 420, 431 and 410 stainless. This corrosion resistance is comparable to 304 stainless. Note it is not recommended for hydrogen applications.

GREYSTONE IS AN ISO 9001 REGISTERED COMPANY

The Greystone air pressure switch is a general purpose airflow proving switch designed for HVAC and Energy Management applications. It may be used to sense positive, negative, or differential air pressure.

FEATURES: The plated housing contains a diaphragm, a calibration spring and a snap-acting SPDT switch. The sample connections located on each side of the diaphragm accept 6.35 mm (0.25”) OD tubing via the integral compression ferrule and nut. An enclosure cover guards against accidental contact with the live switch terminal screws and the set point adjusting screw. The enclosure cover will accept a 12.7 mm (0.5”) conduit connection. Optional pressure ranges and manual resets available.
